Hi everyone I'm looking to massively refurbish some kal world so doing a downsize and putting up for trade some of my kals that aren't as developed as I would like them to be! There are some that are more tent but they just haven't been developed solid like them to go to someone who can work on them more.

@zero.two - ooooh I love love love Cornielle's candle halos and the body shine! She looks so haunting, but in a sort of peaceful way. I also like Zephyr's realistic fur coloration and how Wolf and Lamb have bow and arrow shines!! That's such a fun detail between forms.

I've come here looking for someone to maybe help me make some myos, I'm looking to have kals of two characters made, possibly both with one rare trait (Affogato cookie and Black Sapphire cookie from Cookie run kingdom), currently I've only got 1000c$ and any pets on my account to offer.

i've never posted on the kal fc before so i thought i'd get a mark in while i copy what everyone else did LOL

hi everyone, i'm one of the newest species moderators (as of mid last year??) :D i handle a lot of myo, growth, and transfer approvals (which if you're not in the discord for, shoot me a dm if you ever need anything approved/have general questions!) i got into the species because i liked the base and i've now stared at it enough that it's probably permanently printed on the inside of my skull...</3
i like making characters and drawing/writing for them, my kals all belong to one of my (or someone else's) universes and get developed together with other characters, i'm not creative enough to give them all one-off stories and i keep trying to explain all the npcs/side characters until they become characters too

for content i'll talk a bit about last year's haunted manor halloween event! initially we just wanted to include some snippets that would hint at the origins of the npcs, but it kind of exploded into a full blown storyline and became way more complex. at the time, the chapters were being written on the spot so they were much more delayed than intended, plus somehow each chapter was getting more complex than the next... it ended up being something like 4 pages of code in google drive for chapter 1, 5 for ch2, 14 for ch3, 25 for ch4, 48 for ch5, 8 pages of epilogue, and then 4 other planning/notes docs with another combined 74 pages (with repeat content) plus whatever we winged based on the notes

in the end we ended up getting so much more than we planned to do done and archived it all in the thread

reflections/thoughts looking back? i think a lot of story elements had to be put out in their incomplete or more poetic/aesthetic forms because of the time limit, but even after i've had time to think about it more, i realize not much of the base story has really changed (for my npc's side of things, at least)

a small fun fact is that all the paintings were prepared & this was pretty much written on the fly based on a random poll i put out while the event was being prepared. we only needed 5 paintings for the gallery so people could track points progress, but it evolved into the story we ended up writing! some of the paintings aren't really cohesive with the plot because i couldnt squeeze in the relevance when it was time to do the story, but most of it was there 😎
the character who was affected the most by far was yeon, who wouldn't have existed in the same form had it not been for the random unicorn so ty whoever put that there first

i haven't been here long, so it's really cool seeing a lot of new faces and kals again from new and returning members! i remember closed species used to be very fanclub-centric and it's awesome seeing that again :D
