The gathering has started and the Clans have quickly fallen into their usual groups, sometimes drifting away to interact with new cats. As the Clans started to settle down and get ready for the leader announcements, a group of strange cats prowled into the dimly lit clearing. The Clans were startled and awed by the beautiful and handsome cats that surveyed them all closely. The strangers caught wind of the large gathering and have decided to make their way into the crowd to mingle. They don't seem interested in much more than a fling, with quite a few of the strangers having already disappeared into the night when the conversations shared became too serious.

At every gathering, there will be a group of studs (male and female) for Clans to breed their cats with!

★ Each stud will have a maximum of 3 slots and each slot will be fcfs. All studs will have the same post amount requirements. A first slot will be 3 posts and a second slot will be 9 posts. A second slot can't be claimed until the Wednesday following the start of the gathering. On the last day of the gathering, a third slot will open and you will need to have 12 posts to claim it.

★ To enter for a slot, you will need to fill out the form included with each cat.

★ As usual, you will need to post in your next post that your cat is trying for kits with one of the studs. The queens will give birth in the normal amount of time. For Clans that stud with a female stud, you will receive the kittens three posts after you put in your post that your tom tried for kits with her. You will need to have a queen in your Clan to take care of the kits from a female stud.

★ If you want to breed a same-sex couple with one of the studs, you will need to state which cat in the couple will be bred.

★ Each artist will be bringing only one stud to the gathering. All studs will be posted on the first day of the gathering and no later.

★ NONE of the studs will be going to a Clan. After the gathering, they will be "retired" and may be used again at a later gathering.

★ Each stud will have their own individual form.

★ Each post must contain new content with a minimum of 150 words. You must interact with other players, not yourself, for it to count.

hear ye, hear ye, christmas is here !
in celebration of the upcoming christmas season, a secret santa for players of create-a-clan is being held! in this game, you will receive the username of another player (but you've got to keep it a secret!) before sending the elf (me) a written description (phenotype and/or genotype) of a cat you would like made specifically for your giftee! behind the scenes, another player will receive your name and design a super special cat for you to call your own. sound interesting? learn how to sign up below!

how to play !
1. shoot me a message on either discord or chickensmoothie to indicate you are interested in participating
2. after sign-ups close, you will receive the username of another player of create-a-clan in your inbox
3. come up with a cat design you would like cac artists to create as your gift to them and write a short letter to your giftee
4. send your design and letter to me through discord or cs
5. wait until cats and letters are sent out on december 25th!
6. secret santas will be revealed on december 26th

rules !
1. to participate, you must have made a starter post, been replied to by a mod, and made your first subsequent full post
2. you must indicate your interest in playing through a message to me on discord or cs by 7:00pm est 11/22
3. after receiving your secreta santa giftee, you will have 48 hours to design a cat and write a letter. designs and letters will be due to me on discord or cs by 7:00pm est 11/24. this is simply to give artists enough time to create masterpieces worthy of being christmas gifts!
4. your secret santa giftee and gifter will be chosen randomly! complaining or requesting a change may result in your disqualification from participating.
5. requesting a specific artist to color your cat may result in your disqualification from participating. let's all be nice to everyone this holiday season!

of course, there are some stipulations on what you can include in your designed cat
1. you may request a theme (i.e. reindeer, winter wonderland, candy cane, etc!) for the cat. it can be any theme you would like!
2. you may request one moonpool-only trait
3. you may request one birthday-only trait or one select cac-specific trait
6. you may not request a specific lineart
7. you may request a general pose you want the cat to be in

As many of you know, CAC has an advent calendar every year! Here is the link to the calendar for this year!!

No days may be opened and claimed before their actual days! As the calendar has been posted late, you may claim any days you've missed! Random cats will be given on the 18th when claimed either here on the fanclub or on the game's discord. 25th custom cats can be claimed on the 25th at rollover, and artists will have until the last day of January to finish customs, unless an agreement has been made beforehand!

What’s this? Honeycall, a friend of Blossoming Field, has found a few cats who have managed to
escape from a two-legs shelter and need help if they’re going to make it through the winter! Not
all of them are eager to team up with strangers though, so it may take some convincing.

Every week of December, Honeycall will bring a new group of escaped cats to find new homes. To
win a cat, write about how a cat or cats from your clan would approach them to convince them to
join. There is no word limit, but pretty please do not turn in a book. You can include art, but it will
not be counted in judging the winner for each cat. The deadline every week is Friday at midnight EST.
Cats will announce who they will be going home with by the end of Saturday, and new cats will
(hopefully) be posted Sunday. To enter, DM me your writing with the title of the DM as the cat you are
entering for.

Rules:
1. You may apply for every cat posted, but you may only one each week.
2. Be polite, and keep all story content CS appropriate.
3. The cats' genders may be changed in the story with or without explanation, but the personalities
should mesh with the bios provided.
4. Do not spam the fan club or myself asking when judging will be complete or new cats will be posted,
I will be doing my best but I am in grad school and that comes first.

Cat 1
This tom may seem gruff at a glance, but he’s actually a big
softie. He’s pretty sure his two-legs are around here
somewhere, and definitely didn’t mean to displace him.
I haven’t had the heart to tell him the truth yet. The
cold and snow is overwhelming, and he has no idea
how to catch his own food. If only someone would be
patient enough to teach him…

Cat 2
This little yeti is built for the snow, so they aren’t in a hurry
to find a place to call home, especially since they’re pretty
used to being teased for their odd fur and pink eyes. While
the cold doesn’t bother them, it seems like they’re anxious
for someone to talk to. Maybe if they found someone who
understood them, they would feel more comfortable
settling down.

Cat 3
This strange gal is tough as nails and ready for adventure!
She hails from a place where most cats have two tails, so
is a little concerned at how many cats here seem to have
gotten into horrible fights or accidents. I’ve tried to explain
it, but maybe someone could help tell her that we aren’t
all missing a limb?

Cat 4
This delicate cat is definitely not built to sustain this
weather, or anything, alone and is looking eagerly for a
group to join. They’re from a big family, so the idea of being
alone or somewhere too quiet is a bit off-putting. Their
friendly nature and patience would make her an asset to any
clan. How could she choose between so many possibilities?

Cat 5
This cat has clearly been through some battles. When I
asked, all he would say is “Sometimes, you have to learn your
lessons the hard way.” While he is blind, he quickly adapts
to new locations and has the sharpest sense of hearing. I
wonder what lesson he had to learn?
