Dickens seems very pleased to listen to three stories, although he is a bit confused about why the first one is about horses for some reason?
He appreciates the idea of their being a giant cat god who can fly enormously. He says it sounds like "splendous fun".

Dickens is pleasantly surprised to be faced with a second anthology of stories. He's pleased with all of them. He'd never imagined cat spiders before, but it's quite an interesting concept, and he's curious if he could write allegories for cat societal issues by writing about other species. Perhaps ants would do? Perhaps bees? perhaps even humans? Humans might actually make a very fitting analogy for cat issues.
