The Deer Twins showed up among the Clans in the middle of Leafbare,
bringing along with them the sounds of bells. These kittypets refuse to
take off the collars their Twolegs gave them, which is the source of
the bell sounds that are always heard. They also refuse to take off
the antler headbands they had brought with them from their Twoleg's
house. Both cats scare away prey on hunting patrols due to the
sound from their collars, but they both attract cats who are curious
about what the noise is.

To win these cats, fill out the form listed below. Now, if one of these cats
are traded, the other one must go with them. You can't separate them,
otherwise their powers will be taken away.

Why are the Deer Twins so attached to their collars and toy
antlers? the twins hate most of christmas. hate it. but over their lifetime they have gotten a lot of teasing and crap for their dislike of the season & cheer. (i mean, who likes scrooges?) so, to ward of any future haters of their "cristmas" spirit, they wear the bells and the antlers. after their first christmas with the items they realized it attracted a lot of pretty she-cats. (two attractive toms wearing adorable antlers... no wonder!) So they continued to wear them. the two were such cassanova's that they decided to wear them all the time after that! then it just became a staple of who they were, ya know, the antlers and the bells. Now they just can't go anywhere without them because it's a habit to have them on.



Congratulations! Igor and Krampus are all yours!

A wonderful season has come and gone among the Clans. The festivities have ended and most of the tiny kits and apprentices are ushered back into the warmth of their nests. The warriors are still sharing tales among themselves while the elders have already been sleeping in their dens since before the sun went down. Among all these normal scenes, one curious kit pokes their head out of the nursery when they hear the sound of bells and cheerful mews. Looking up into the sky, they manage to catch a glance of a big red sleigh being pulled by it's "reindeer". Just before the sleigh disappears from view, a caliby pokes her head over the edge of the sleigh, a giant red hat placed precariously between her ears. Without opening her mouth, the kit could hear the she-cat's voice in her head, cooing the words "Have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year."

That art is gorgeous! And I love Blossoming Field, although does she have any sort of backstory or legend attached to her? I think it would be very interesting to come up with a myth for her that every clan can have it's own version of, sort of like their ancestors. I'd be willing to write one myself but would anyone else be interested!


And I just got reminded of Egghead and Longbody. Although these two are more like joke-mascots.
