Ah, it's actually quite simple! Once you've finished the drawing, remove layer one so that the background appears to be checkered.
Then finish the drawing. When writing the title and description of your drawing, right-click on the image and copy it. Click paste in the text box below it.
Once you've done that, you'll see a line of what looks like gibberish that is the code for the image. Near the end of that code, you should see something that says "auto&rev". You're going to want to change that part to "png&rev". This is how you get the image transparent. Finally, highlight the entire image code and click the button above that says "Img" to make it appear as an image.
