ahem. this is derpwolf:3's and my entry for JBD 300, named Matahari (white) and Lleuad (black) by us. if we win, I'll be getting Lleuad. this is directly related to our story, which is here.
yeah... I suck at showing emotions in art. but both are sad and hopeful; Lleuad acting as the older brother and being strong for his sister. Matahari is only smiling to stop herself from crying. their parents were recently shot for having stole from the government, and both Matahari and Lleuad were arrested for sheltering their parents' compass.
