I hated that...
but if a^2 = 64 and c^=16.... lol its not really possible.... because if a^2+b^2=c^2, you set it up like 64+x^2=16, then x^2 would equal to -48... and you cant find the square root of a negative number. So the answer would be no solution, but really a side cant be no solution... urg
However, if you just made up random numbers and I took that way to literally, i am very, very sorry.

I finished intermediate algebra this year and had to pass a test that included a problem similar to that in 7th grade to take my math this year... and next year I go to Geometry. Oh joy -.-

XD the numbers I used were written directly off the blackboard during class, so I dunno xD
