I didn't do much with the limes part, mostly the corrosive part of your username
This is a canine-like spirit that goes around wherever it chooses at night. It cannot be seen or touched in the daytime, but it will still be there.
It can teleport, and uses this power to scare people. It does not need sustenance, but to keep its powers and its right to be among mortals, it must harvest enough raw fear into its lamp every moon cycle.
The brightness of the glow in its lamp shows how much fear it's gotten; when an actual blue flame lights it will be enough and the character can then contently go off on its own whims. The flame and its glow will instantly go out when the full moon sets. Its lamp is visible at night even when the spirit itself isn't.
The thick goo that constantly drips from its mouth and nose is dangerous. When it comes in contact with skin, it will melt it, leaving only bone. It will hurt excruciatingly, but the area that has been melted will still be able to function as if it had not been cleaned of skin and muscle. If the goo simply falls to the ground, it will disappear with a strong scent of tar.
The character rarely opens its eyes, but when it does they will drip with the goo as well. It also often does not open its mouth wide, but when it does it can unhinge the jaw like a snake's. Its teeth are sharp and the goo will drip uncontrollably.

Im not quite sure what his name will be yet, but I feel like he and Nero would get along pretty well X3
