All Berryfur Pandas are bright, unnatural colors. They all have horns, male or female. These cute marsupials all have stripes on their tails. They can range from the size of a kitten (newborn), to the size of a red panda (adult). All BFP's have round ears and fluffy tails. They mainly eat berries and fruit, very rarely eating fish. They are all amazing climbers and enjoy hanging from tree branches by their tails. They mate for life and are very affectionate to each other. On average, litters consist of 1-4 joeys. The normal life span of a Berryfur Panda is anywhere from 10-15 years.

Iris's appearance matches her attitude--full of color. She's somewhat insane, always energized and ready to take on anything. She talks a lot, and much of it is nonsense and mindless chatter. But she also tends to randomly yell out something that is actually interesting, even fascinating and intelligent. Her goofy ramblings hide a very smart brain, that not many know about. On the other hand, Iris can be quite calm and soothing. She hates harming others, and is very gentle and kind. Usually, you don't see the more reserved side of her, but it pops up on occasion. Iris has many mood swings, going from elated joy to dull boredom in a matter of seconds.
Iris's intelligence may not often show up, but it gives her a wily, cunning sense. She may say something out of the blue, that later makes perfect sense. She is very good at understanding others as well. Iris has little patience, especially when she's hyper (which is often). She tries to make the best of everything, and of everyone.

Iris was the only daughter of a pair of Berryfur Pandas, she had two brothers. Her parents were as loving and kind as they should be, taking good care of their three joeys. Iris was independent from the start, her attitude took her on many mischievous adventures. She often brought her one of her brothers, the younger male by the name of Kajika, with her, as he was equally excitable. Her older brother Ituha was more sensible and calmer, far more obedient than his two younger siblings. The punishments Iris received never bothered her, and she was always raring for new adventures.
As she aged, she gained common sense, but was never lacking in spirit for excitement. She split away from her family early, eager to find her own place in the world.
