i don't have the time to run these as a closed species like i want to but don't want them to rot so. here we go! new open species for y'all!

rules --

•anyone except for banned users can make an itaki fish
•you may make and own as many itaki fish as you would like.
•itaki fish may be traded and gifted, but MAY NOT be sold for any type of currency, real or fake.
•if you break the above rule you will be banned from the species.
•you may use ONE mythic trait but unlimited traits under that on your Itaki fish.
•please do not use exotic tier traits on your itaki fish; i may make an exotic tier itaki fish from time to time for you guys.
•you may not breed your itaki fish, but i may do breedings from time to time when i have the time to.
•breaking these rules will result in a strike/ban depending on the severity of the rule you broke.
•please have fun making them!

what are itaki fish? --

Itaki fish are a mixed breed between cats and fish. They have gills and fins, but they can also walk around and breathe on land. They can swim swiftly underwater and do not need to come up for air. They have the temperament of a cat and they love to cuddle. They can be any color and combination of patterns, thus making two that look exactly the same is extremely rare. While growing up, Itaki Fish actually have little stubs where the tail would be, so you don't know what tail they have until they are fully grown!

- body type edits (fat, skinny, etc.)
- afflictions (blindness, scars, missing limbs*, deafness, mutism, etc)

common:

- all tails given (shark, goldfish, eel, mermaid)
- colored sclera
- chin-length hairstyles
- minor teeth edits (snaggle tooth, etc. nothing beyond the chin)

uncommon:

- shoulder-length hairstyles (includes up-do's)
- major teeth edits (goes past the chin)
- custom tails
- nose edits
- fur edits
- ear edits
- heterochromia
- custom pupils
- custom tongue
- horns on the head

mythic:

- glow
- hair edits past the shoulder, but not past the paws.
- body horns
- backmane
- custom tail
- multicolored eyes
- missing limbs
- multiple tails (no more than 2)

more traits may be added in the future.

* -- an itaki fish may not be missing more than 2 limbs and cannot be missing their tail unless they are a baby!
