Perhaps Java isn't properly installed?

If it is, make sure you draw on the right layer. Click on a layer named "Colour: ..." and mark Lock alpha, then cou can colour that dog without going over the lines.

I need more info to go on to be able to help you. How doesn't it work? Doesn't the image load? Won't it let you colour anything in? A screenshot would be helpful if it's some strange problem^^.
