Its based off Mule deer, you can tell because the tail on a whitail deer is much longer and not tipped with black. I may have made the tail too long when drawing, but it is in fact a mule deer Also they are smaller but you can't tell from a drawing such as this. I've done my research, and this is based off several pictures, some of which i have taken, that i know for a certain fact are a subspecies of mule deer found in the area where i live. I know what i drew.
