anyways, i was wondering- how do you draw backgrounds?
and i have and apple pen but i don’t know how to use it for pen pressure on oekaki ;w;
Background Tutorial Is Done!
Odd! Are you making sure the little circle next to the brush size is black? That turns the pen pressure on and off. I am using Safari and I know I tried using Firefox before and it didn’t work right. So it could be a browser app issue too. Another thing is to check if your Apple Pencil is set to Only Draw. This should be in the Apple Pencil settings section within the iPad’s settings.
OH MY GOSH i had no idea about that i always puzzled about it lol
edit: it doesnt work. turns out i dont have an official apple pen ahaha . thought it was tho

You can ask as many questions a you like!
Pencil effect:
- I use the pen tool with its default settings + pen pressure on opacity and size.
- Then just add a little bit of scattering! Just enough that the lines aren’t smooth.
- if you add more scattering you can create a crayon effect. Play around with it to find the look you’re going for!
The trick is to draw lightly and imagine you’re drawing with an actual pencil.
As for the paper effect, I made this tutorial a little while ago!
Hope that helps!
