A dark grey wolf padded into a clearing. The she-wolf sat down, waiting for the other wolves to come. Her midnight blue eyes closed, in relief that there was food for once. She lay down for a rest, while waiting. The hunter knew that she had as little strength as the others and that was why they needed to work together.
She lay down her head, looking for the others, keeping up her little strength. The grey wolf didn't have the energy to be her normal self. Jade, as she was known, was an energetic wolf with plenty of energy to spare but today, all of her strength felt like it was zapped away from her.
