So, exactly three years ago today, I was inspired by the summer solstice and drew Queen Elsa on the beach, who seems to have left Princess Anna in charge of Arendelle for the day while she catches some rays in her glittery bathing suit! Despite how much better in quality this one is, the original was always one of my favorite of my drawings, and was also my highest-voted (56) until my feature this week (which I still can't get over, you guys rock)!

Big difference, huh? Let me just say God bless my human drawing glow-up, honestly. Elsa looks so pretty now!
(Also the chair actually looks like it's made out of wood now!)
((The timer is totally accurate; I took about three or four hours doing the lines and color for Elsa, two or three for the sky and water, which I edited repeatedly, and two or three hours to go back and perfect all the tiny details in between, like the flowers in her hair and Olaf with his flurry in the background! c; ))

Miles of white sand surround me,

The breeze is calming as it dances ‘cross my face

And my sunscreen

Frame the beautiful summer sunset
I could spend all day on the beach
I'm free!

My voice rings throughout the sky
Here I am
And here I'll stay
Let the fun begin
I’ll dance and sing and laugh under the summer sun
This tropical paradise will be perfect just for one
Just think of all of nature’s beauty all around
The trees, the flowers, too, there’s so much to be found

Let the sun keep shining through the mist

Opposites can coexist
Here I’ll tan
In the brightness of day
Let the sun beat down
It’s time for a brand new change, anyway!
