...The locals (of Purgatory) are actually a canine species known as The Purgonines. These Purgatorian’s are a highly evolved species made to outlast the wastes and have learned to salvage what they can. They are fox-like creatures, built with long legs for walking long distances and large paws and pads to keep them from injuring their feet on any small shrapnel lying around. They have a long, thin snout and large round ears for better hearing. They have long, flexible, wispy unicorn-like tails with large amounts of fluff on the end to swat and use to protect against dust storms (by which the use the fluff as a face mask if necessary). They have even evolved pose able thumbs to hold things! They all choose different paths in life and are all unique in their own ways. Some choose the life of a righteous Centurion guard who will protect others with their life, but some will go down the path of a raider and become a criminal for the sake of their own.

Hey there c: I'm Cryogenic but I like to go by Cryo or Kylie, either is fine (:
I'm a 6 year member here on CS and I've loved every minute of it. I'm a
senior in Highschool who plans on going into the military to help pay for my
college years in which I will be studying to become a veterinarian. I like to
think of myself as a fun and easy person to be around with a happy and non-
judging personality. I really love all sorts of animals but my favorite is the
tiger if we're talking about exotic species but with domestic pets it would have
to be either a dog or a sugar glider or a ferret, I just can't really decide c: I am
also a chat mod here with the Purgonines and I've loved every minute of getting
to know everyone here.

His physical apperance. Shiloh is a very vain Purgo and so he takes the up most care in preparing himself for the day and making sure he looks absolutely perfect.

What they like the least about himself:
Being emotionally detatched in relationships. While Shiloh craves the attention of being in a relationship he always seems to become a little bored with it after only a little amount of time and really wishes he could commit more.

Even though we do not know what their colors and patterns are I absolutely fell in love with his hair. Weird thing to feel connected to huh >.<; I feel like as my first won Purgo Shiloh could make a very interesting and well loved character that I would like to get the chance to develop more and to smother in love and affection here in the community c:

Well, you may already know, I'm a chat mod for these cuties, and I own two Purogies already!.....both customs! X3 I own a pet dog, and a pet beta fish in real life, Brewster(dog) and King(Fish)! I am a pretty big-ish gamer when it comes to Pokemon and Rpgs, or games where you have a pet. My favorite color is lilac, I love Hamsters and dogs, my favorite food is pasta with cheese, and I'm running out of things to put here!

I am fluent in two languages, English and Spanish, and I am in love with both
cultures. I have a certain facination for other cultures, races, traditions, and
their histories. This can influence my writing skills, as I usually make my
characters a certain ethnicity or race - it gives them an interesting feel,
almost perfectly unique.

I enjoy writing & reading - my two favorite hobbies, especially with
a nice blanket or fire to snuggle up to. . However, I cannot tell
you how many times I've suffered a "reader's hangover" from staying
in one position for too long, or mourning over a fictional character
I've accidentally fallen in love with. (What - we've all done it!) My
favorite genres are fantasy & fiction, but I would be willing to read
almost any book recommended to me. Currently, I'm re-reading the
Eragon series and starting the second book of Miss Peregrine's Home
for Peculiar Children, Hollow City. (I recommend it, great illustrations
to capture the imagination and a plot i've never seen before!)

Ah, names. So many of them, so little time to learn
them all. One problem, she would be known by
many names. A traveler by heart and trade, this nomad
can't stand to stay in one place for too long.
So, she's known by many names.
I'll list a few, as well as the stories behind them.

- Kachina - Sacred Dancer -
Not the name she was born with, but a name
given to her by a
native Purgonine tribe outside the city.
Based upon the Native American
Hopi name meaning "Sacred Dancer," or
"spirit." Awarded to her by the cheiftan,
she earned the name after being stranded
with the tribe during a sandstorm on
Purgatory. They saw her arrival with the
storm a miracle, and invited her to
dance with the warriors for the Sandstorm
Ceremony. Of course, she accepted.
She's often debated with Editon {a friend
who's always up to listening to her stories}
about whether she accepted out of respect,
or out of the curiosity and fun of it.
She's quite the adventurer in his eyes.

- Ambrosia - Immortal -
Not the name she was born with, either, but
there's an interesting story behind it.
This is actually what Editon calls her, more
often than not. He teases her with this
name, but she doesn't mind. She's the one
telling her adventures, and throwing in a
few facts that didn't really happen doesn't
hurt too much, right? She hopes he really
doesn't think her immortal, but secretly would
enjoy it if he did. After-all, how cool
would that be? He found the name while she was
reading to him, a book of Greek myths.
It immediately became her nickname.

- Antonietta - Invaluable -
Actually, the name she was born with. A name
formed in Spain, it fits her beautifully
in her appearance, but she despises the way it makes
her sound dainty. She prefers the
nickname, Anton, even if it sounds a bit more masculine.
This name doesn't have much of
a story, but it has a long line of people under estimating her
for it ... and promptly getting
beaten up for it.

Even if she acts like a dude at times, she is definitely 100% female.
