Oh, there's also dragons and talking animals and stuff. Yep. Any questions, just PM me. I'll answer them as best I can.So, it's set in an academy, for students aged 14-20. Every person is in the academy to discover their true talent (like swordplay or archery or whatever) and "Animal Within" So what that means is, for example, someone could be sly and sneaky and smart and stealthy (Need any more S's, much?) and they would be a fox. It's pretty much any animal, so feel free to be creative. The people don't turn into these animals, their characteristics just represent them. So do your homework! Lol.
Description of the Academy:
You can randomly make up parts of the building, but it's basically a big red-oragne brick castle-type thing, but the students sleep in small cottages out the back in a huge paddock. They have woods and a farm and pretty much anything you can imagine. Don't forget the training grounds, which can be found inside or out. They have things like archery targets or fenced-off ringes for swordfights, ect. Like I said, you can just make up whatever so long as it fits (e.g. don't put in a computer or a random car or a sauna - well the car is okay so long as it's a mess and jumble of cogs and clanking-things, like steampunkey-ish XD). There's stables, too, I should mention.
Classes:
Okay, so classes aren't really like random conversations with random people. For example, a swordfighting class would be a swordfight, now wouldn't it? And Horse Riding would be - have a guess - RIDING HORSES! There's no desks, and you don't sit around and ask the teacher questions. Yes, there are teachers (And yes, you can RP as a teacher) but they don't teach you stuff like mathematics or english, lol. As with most things I've said so far, you can make up your own classes. (Note: This RP is not oriented around classes! What I'm trying to say is that it's more adventure than school, okay? It just happens to be set in an academy...)
Note: I haven't put a plot in here, as that can restrict what we can do. Instead, make and develop the plot by RPing. Because isn't that the whole point? XD
~Rules~
1. Follow Tess's rules, thank you.
2. You must have an approved character (by me) to RP. Please don't just jump in without posting a character profile -- it's rude. Once you have a character approved though, feel free to just jump in randomly XD
3. Please be kind. No swearing (Apart from "Crap." Words like Shiznik or Frack are acceptable.) or using the Lord's name in vain (apart from OMG or oh my gosh/goodness or other variations), as this could be offensive to some religions. Be considerate of what you post before you post it. If you're unsure, do the "Grandma Check" Which is where you re-read over this and ask yourself, "Would my Grandma be okay if she read this?"
4. Feel free to just make up things randomly that fit in with the atmosphere of the roleplay. Yes, this includes talking cheeses, pie-flavoured pie (REFERENCE! XD), and ponies that can turn themselves inside-out. Seriously, do whatever so long as it's not too modern.
5. Keep the romance to a minimum. This is not a romance RP so please, don't overload.
6. Not absolutley necessary, but correct grammar and punctuation can help avoid confusion. No text-speak in-character, either. OOC is fine, though.
7. I don't care how you do OOC posts, so long as it's obvious you're not IC. Don't put OOC comments in the middle of your post, either. Put them at the top or bottom of it. Or both, I don't really care
Posts that are entirely OOC are fine, so long as they aren't spam or super irrelivant, like "ZOMG! I'm eating cheese!" The only exception to this OOC post is if someone IC was actually eating cheese at the time, or doing something thus making the eating of cheese relevant. This is very subjective, and I'm not going to kick you if you do post random OOC comments, it's just that it clutters up the topic. In fact, randomness is encouraged in a non-spammable form! XD So, yeah. Talking cheeses are cool.8. You can't RP a dragon or animal, unless said creature belongs to a human you are RPing. I'll be more specific. You can have a cat or something jump up on your lap, that's fine. But being inside the creature's head without having a human character, well you can't do that. If you're unsure, just ask.
I think that's it. If there's something I forgot to put on here, I apologise. Please inform me of any other rules you think should be on here, aswell. If you do something which I think should be against the rules (But it's not on the rules) I will kindly inform you, and then I shall put it on the rules. There will be no kicking for my mistake, as it was mine, and not yours.
