Welcome, welcome, to this endless game~ Love, ?????
______Six years ago, over two hundred orphaned children were
_adopted by the government of the influential country Aeradia.
_They were experimented on by the scientists of a certain
_organization and were turned into mutants or given strange,
_dangerous "skills". Over half died, from some kind of mistake,
_incompatibility with the changes, or even something else.
_Almost every one of the few remaining children were deemed
_"Failures", and were selectively brainwashed and sent back to
_their orphanages. Many of them had retained their powers,
_along with massive hatred towards those who had done such
_terrible things to them.
"Sometimes, it is easier to just... forget..."
______Unrest is stirring within the nation, and an underground
_rebellion aspires to recruit the "mutants" into their ranks.
_While the regular citizens don't know what exactly is going on,
_they've begun to notice the increase in "gang activity" after
_curfew, along with the nearly silent footsteps of children
_running through the streets in the early hours of dawn.
Bound by a promise’s chain, pinned, a helpless butterfly.
_On their tragic search for revenge, only the lucky will survive.
{Ever since that day, I have been running in the darkness~}
_____-They will discover a vast network of corruption, conspiracy,
_and traitorous behavior that was best left unseen within both
_the Government and themselves.
Never to be free, seeing only rain, nevermore to soar the sky.
_They will bring the nation's "Shadowed Prologue" into the light.
You can never escape~ Love, ?????
Setting
Aeradia. A strong nation. Your lifelong home. It's citizens live well, at least, those not like you. The government, referred to as the Guild, rules the land wisely, and under its reign peace has fallen on a once war-torn area. Though the common people live with twenty-hundred-ten-year (Common day, about 2010-2015) style technology, the government's scientists have advanced far beyond such. It was from their accomplishments you became who you are today. You live in large town, predominately composed of middle-class citizens, in an orphanage on the outskirts. Surrounding the town in a thin band of abandoned buildings, a faint echo of the nation's past, and of the most recent uprising eighteen years ago. Crime is beginning to take root here, yet again.
History
Years ago, up to several months past, yourself and other orphans were taken by a segment of the government now known as the Assassin's Guild. Their purpose was to create a enhanced human that would destroy crime and remove those who opposed the Government. Experiments were run, your friend's bodies changed into those of monsters...Orphaned children adopted by this Guild from all corners of the country were dying in their cages around you. Few survived, and most of those were too weak to be of any use. A select group became the first assassins, but the others either followed their predecessors' example and took a dirt nap or were released after memory suppression.
Later, they perfected their methods. The assassins were created, and have already started their work. You were forgotten; now not even a memory of failure, a fading mistake. You aren't even a number in their files, as they were burned to smoke and ash long ago.
Rules for the Roleplayer1: All of Tess' rules apply here.
2: No power playing, "godmoding", or Mary/Gary Sue/Stu characters.
3: Please write at least three solid sentences.
4: You may have one character allowed 'immortality'. They will not die in battle or be assassinated, though they can still be injured. To balance this, you must have one a character for the death list.Jayfeather4ever wrote:Disposable, like one of those cameras at the dollar store.
Disposable characters do not need tons of depth. They will be prey for the AG girls, but will also serve an important part of the story. A character's status as disposable [or not] may be hidden after I accept them. If their status is hidden, I will PM you when it is nearing the time where they must die by, and won't post their name on the to-die list.
5: Any AG characters previously accepted by Sokyo may roleplay here during attacks or interaction with ASP characters.
6: You do not have to be a "mutant". You may also be a sibling of an AG girl, a friend of one, or just a normal kid.
7: Keep romance minimal. Relationships with AG members is discouraged, since too much "Forbidden Romance" ruins a story.
8: Use parenthesis/brackets for OOC text.
9: Be kind. If somebody needs a recap, give them one!
10: I may decline any form as I wish. You may re-try a few times if necessary.
11: Characters in the "Street Gang" must be younger than 20, but it is preferable for them to be between the ages of 7 and 18. There is currently no age restrictions for Rebels.
Please excuse the messiness of this post, along with the horrid state of the one below. I'm in the process of re-doing them for greater neatness and overall prettiness, but only the above text is nearly completed. Everything else is a reminder of how badly I sucked at coding.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.
