Introduction
Hello and welcome everyone to our new RP. The old owner let me create a new one since most the members of the old RP decided it was inactive and wanted to make a new one. Their old characters will be preserved but any of the old characters that have died will be available to be role-played now since this is a new story line. Even though our old story line was good, it was perfect for a STORY not an RP, and the climax was already reached, which made the RP not as enjoyable. Anyways, I have planned out a beginning to a new one, which is kind of like an after-affect of the old one, but now the characters as well as the mood that the RP gives off can be changed. Story Line & Setting
A Little History of the Dark World and the Dark Triforce:
The Dark World has been known for being the polar opposite of Hyrule, or in other words, a dark mirror of the land of light. Just as Hyrule was created by the three goddesses Din, Nayru, and Farore, the Dark World was created by the three gods Satsubatsu, Kichi, and Haki. As the history of Hyrule tells, the three goddesses created the Triforce as they rose into the heavens, leaving it to the people to let Hyrule prosper, where as in the Dark World, the gods left their people the Dark Triforce to grant their greediest wishes and keep producing the monsters and shadows who torment the Hyruleans. Legend tells that once, a shadow touched the Dark Triforce, though he was not yet ready to possess the dark power it held and he was only given one of the three triangles, the Triforce of Bloodthirst. The Triforce of Wit and the Triforce of Ambition were split into shards as was told through the centuries, though no one knows who has them. The original shadow who could not gain the whole Dark Triforce eventually died and his piece of Bloodthirst was passed down generation through generation, though none know who has it now, and that who possesses it does not either, but when they find out, the world will surely crumble....
What's Happening Right Now:
Our RP starts off in a time of darkness. Shadow Link has gained control of Hyrule, where this RP takes place (though characters have the option of going in and out of the Twilight Realm and Termina if they please), and a hero is yet to be noticed in this time. The Hylians have lost hope, and serve him, yet still in their hearts, they wonder where the green-garbed boy who always appeared in a time of need could be. A group of people have joined a small rebellion that has yet to take affect, though they are trying to find the hero and planning a way to overrun Shadow Link. What side will you join? Will you serve Shadow Link as a loyal worker or will you rebel, and try to bring light back into Hyrule?
Rules
1. Be polite to everyone, and if you have a complaint, politely PM me about it instead of posting it to the whole world and offending people.
2. Once you quit you can't come back.
3. If I kick you off, please don't post here.
4. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues, I will be the judge of that if something of this sort comes up.
5. Respect me and the other RPers.
6. If I tell you that you are not following my rules you may not argue; please take it into consideration that I may consult with other RPers before kicking you off so it isn't a snap judgement. Just remember, though, that I control the rules throughout the RP.
7. Once you join, you must RP within 3 days or you will be kicked off unless you submit your form again and actually RP.
8. After you have submitted your first RPing post, if you haven't RPed in over 2 months, you will be kicked off permanently.
9. If rules 7 and 8 occur in your situation, your character can be taken by anyone, and continued being RPed so if you want to join again, tough luck, you'll have to form up a new character.
