Summary
(Don't need to read since you already read the book. Just here for a reference)
This is the world now, and this is where you live. After a rebellion about 70 years ago, the government has created "The Hunger Games" to remind you of the bloody history and to show they are incontrol. They just want to see your children die in an arena. When your child turnes 12, your child has to enter their names to join the games until they are 18. Every year, your name goes into the drawing one more time. Of course, you can put your name in more. If you are unfortunate enough, and get picked, you become a piece of the government's game.

In the Games, you are put into an arena with 23 other contestants, 2 from every distract. Some of them come prepared (the Careers: Mostly come from 1,2 and 4)while others come with only the common knowledge they were able to pick up. The children are dressed up, interviewed and trainned to allow themselves to win Sponsers. If the players ever need anything, their Sponsers send in basic matterials to help them survive. Usually Water, Food, and if you are lucky, Medicine.Usually, the Careers join in a "Pack" and distroy the contestants one by one. After the weaker tributes are gone, they go off on their own and distroy each other. The last person standing wins the games and returns home to live in a larger home stocked with food, and go on a victory tour to see the districts in which the people they killed came from.

The Arena:
Mountains

This year, the arena is better then ever. On one side, there is steap mountains that feel like they can go on forever, on the other, there is more rocky terrain, and finally a clearing. This is where the government want's most of the fighting, where it is clear for every one to see. In the mountains, all kinds of animals a wait you. As you go up, you can encounter snow leopards to deadly mutations that eat people's flesh. Remember, they won't be release full, and will most likely have been starved for weeks. Some of the plants are ediable, but only about 20% of them. Be careful when picking berries... There is a small, but steady river that runs on one side of the mountain filled with various fishes and such. But, there might be some river monsters in there, you never know.

Weather
The weather can be as wonderful as a bright warm sunny day to a tornado the next. There is no real climate, everything is government controled, so whatever they feel like doing to the tributes, they will. There can be tornados, thunderstorms, fireballs raining from the sky,etc.(Use your imagination, it can be whatever). There really are no hurricanes because there isn't a large body of water to creat one. But there could be a couple of floods from the gigantic lake in the middle.

Lake
There are a few lakes with in the arena, but there is one major lake towards the south. It is mostly clean water, so you wont need to purify this one. As for the others, you will need to. In the large lake, there are many different life forms, such as paranas,crocodiles, and Lake monsters. Be careful when swimming through the lakes.

Forest
In the forest, the trees surround you from every angle and every direction. You can't escape. The trees are all different in different. Some are skinny and sleak, others are large, wide, with many branches. The trees seem to go up forever, but if you ever do reach the top, you can see almost all of the arena below you. A few lakes are scattered through out the woods also, make sure the water is drinkable.

The woods are filled with many different animals. Most of them seem normal like deer, squirrels, birds. They all seem harmless, but actually, some are very deadly. Weather it's because they have poisen traveling through their vains, or they can bite your face off in seconds, make sure you kill them fully. Don't forget, Mockingjays, tracker jackers, and other mutts might travel through the woods, either durring the day or night.
