undoubtedly the most powerful trainer in unova, earning the champion title at 22 and remai
ning undefeated for over than 4 years. the empress is the daughter of a former member of t
he hoenn elite four. ever since she could remember, she and her younger sister were always
taught the skills of pokemon battling and practiced by battling against one another. though
this was intended to build healthy sportsmanship, it eventually grew into rivalry, as the em
press’ sister would come to resent her for being able to defeat her in many of their battles.
the empress initially tried to mend their relationship, but after she was insulted by her sist
er, she severed their bonds entirely. the empress' stellar performance in her gym challenge
s eventually caught the attention of former elite four caitlin, who became her mentor. afte
r training for two years under her tutelage, caitlin encouraged the empress to take on the u
pcoming annual league challenge for she trusted that she could be crowned champion. des
pite not speaking to both her sister and her mother, she still gave them two tickets for her
championship match, to which only her mother came to attend. in an intense 30-minute b
attle, the empress emerged victorious and became unova’s newest champion. as a central
figure of the league, the empress has been invited to the grand reopening of the nacrene g
ym. though she may look indifferent after learning that her sister is to be its first challenge
r, no one really knows how she truly feels inside

one of the most vital staff members working within unova’s pokemon league committee, the
attorney is the senior in-house counsel for the unova league committee, tasked with represe
nting the legal interests of the league both nationally and internationally. being a legal coun
sel is never part of the attorney’s initial dreams, for he once wished to become a normal-typ
e trainer. his aspirations were so strong that he enrolled into the prestigious galar national tr
ainer’s academy. unfortunately, due to his reserved and antisocial nature, the attorney beca
me a target of bullying by a particular fighting-type trainer. the mistreatment against him be
came to such a degree that eventually, the attorney dropped out of the academy at 16 and r
elinquished his dreams of becoming a trainer. not all was bleak for him though, for the attor
ney eventually moved to unova to attend law school and became a successful attorney withi
n the region. at 24, the attorney joined the legal department of the unova league committee
where he has climbed the ranks to become its senior counsel. there was a great apprehensio
n on his behalf before joining the committee, for he had to potentially meet his former bully
that is the striker. since then, he had made all efforts to avoid the striker becoming known o
f his presence in the committee, but those days of avoidance would end when the attorney w
as obliged to attend the reopening of the nacrene gym with the empress and the striker

oles in several tv shows due to her father’s network — yet all that seemed superficial, as if it
were never hers at the first place. the star eventually went to unova at 17 in order to build h
er own career. she started off with commercials and small tv shows before being scouted at
nineteen to star in “everlasting memories”, a science-fiction horror where she played the da
ughter of a crazed scientist who turned out to be the hidden antagonist. the film was mostly
shot at the nacrene museum, where the star met the curator, who then became her boyfrien
d. “everlasting memories” was a blockbuster hit, and one of the most highly praised movies i
n unova. this catapulted the star into several other major roles in movies of great success. sh
e is known for being a workaholic, which became a huge factor of her break up with the cura
tor, as she ended their relationship when she moved back to kalos at 22 to further her career
back home. as the 5th anniversary of “everlasting memories” coincides with the grand reope
ning of the nacrene gym, the star was invited to attend the event as an honourable guest. sh
e planned to reject the invitation but after her manager's endless persuasion, the star ended
up taking the invitation in the end, booking the next flight from kalos to unova

a professional athlete as well as a formidable pokemon trainer hailing from galar. the striker
is famed for his cool, bad boy image with a strong social media presence, where he often sh
ares his pokemon and training regime. the striker actually came from a poor family and is kn
own to be quite a troublemaker in his hometown. one afternoon, he discovered a gang abusi
ng a fighting-type pokemon in an alley, a fight broke out when he to rescue it from the hand
s of its tormentors. he eventually took up training before he decided to focus on becoming a
fighting-type specialist. when the prestigious galar national trainer’s academy opened its sch
olarship program through an exhibition match, the striker jumped at the opportunity and his
intense training bore fruit, for he won the match and consequently obtained the scholarship.
from day one, the striker knew that the academy is an institution normally attainable for the
rich. knowing that he was already at a social disadvantage, the striker adopted a tough and i
ntimidating personality, becoming head of the academy’s sports committee, leader of the po
pular guys, and then domineering over his other classmate; most notably, a timid, unassumi
ng lilipup trainer who the striker bullied everyday often to the point of tears. two years afte
r graduating at 18, (name) is invited by the unova league to replace marshal and take his ma
ntle as an elite four. as part of the league, he’s expected to come alongside the empress to t
he reopening of the nacrene gym where he'd soon met the boy he once bullied: the attorney

ebel has been taught how to train and how to battle pokemon, no doubt thanks to her mot
her who was once a part of the hoenn elite four. as such, both the rebel and her older siste
r always knew for a fact that they’re to pursue a career as trainers. indeed, the rebel is a p
owerful trainer in her own right, yet her sister was always somehow a step above her, never
once losing a battle against her. as she holds great value in her aspirations of becoming a fu
ll-fledged trainer, the rebel’s consecutive defeats at the hands of her sibling cut deep at her
pride, sparking an intense rivalry between the two both on and off the battlefield. the rebel
eventually insulted her sister in a fit of spite, resulting the latter to cut off all contact with h
er. as the rebel learnt that her older sister has been crowned champion of unova, she turned
this into fuel for her ambition. the star finally took on the gym challenge at 22 years of age.
now having earned all but one badge, the rebel has set her sights on the reopened nacrene g
ym, housing the toughest gym leader in all of unova. knowing that first, her battle within the
nacrene gym will be celebrated with its grand reopening, and second, that her sister will be
there, the rebel knew that this is the most important milestone of her journey thus far

the current deputy director of nacrene museum, an archaeologist, and a skilful pokemon tr
ainer. the curator is the newest gym leader under the unova league, replacing clay of driftv
eil city when his gym closed down in the previous year. an intelligent young man, the curato
r grew up to follow his mother’s footsteps and went on to pursue a career in archeology. init
ially, pokemon battling never really intrigued him, until he met his partner pokemon in one
of his mother’s expedition site. discovering a new excitement in pokemon training, the cura
tor consequently became a part-time pokemon trainer. he eventually landed a position as a
junior curator for the nacrene museum at 19, where he helped develop the museum’s growi
ng collection. at one point, a filming crew rented the museum as a set for an upcoming horr
or movie called “everlasting memories” where he met his then-girlfriend, one of the starring
actresses in the movie: the star. the two started dating for more than 3 years until their eve
ntual break up due to her moving back to kalos, and his divided time as both a curator and p
okemon trainer. now, the curator has become the deputy director for nacrene museum and
was granted the approval to once again repurpose it as a pokemon gym. after months of deal
ing with the legal paperwork with the attorney, he was designated as the leader of the nacre
ne gym. the empress decided that the curator shall rightfully be placed as the last gym chall
enge for trainers for his level of difficulty in battle. the curator is quiet nervous that the lea
gue is throwing such an event for his gym’s reopening, but is nonetheless proud that they ha
ve trusted him
