Introduction
This Roleplay is set in the present day world, mainly in the United States, and is based off of Rick Riordan’s book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and his sequel series, The Heroes of Olympus. It is recommended that you have read at least one of the books in either series or watched the movie to have basic knowledge of Riordan’s world. You can read below to get a brief summary or follow any of the links provided to get some information about how life is as a half god, half human.

In this RP, we will go according to the way Riordan has developed his world so far, so you may be missing some information or there may be spoilers. The actual characters in the books and movie will not be used at all, besides the immortal ones.

Quick Summary
For as long as you can remember, you’ve been an outcast in this world. You don’t fit in with people at school, or even your own family. Learning disabilities seem to follow you like the plague, and everybody you come into contact with either ends up hurt, missing or go crazy. Or worse, they could be after you.
Strange things do seem to happen quite often to you, and things just keep getting weirder when you discover a camp not far off from New York City. Whether you were led here by a family member, some strange creature, or you just found this place by yourself, Camp Half-Blood will change your life forever.

If you find yourself in Camp Half-Blood you are most definitely a being with mythological powers. Most likely, one of your parents is a god or goddess from the Greek or, possibly but not probably, Roman myths. Here you will learn to harness, use, and control your powers that have been passed on to you by your godly parent as well as train yourself in survival and warrior skills with your cabin mates. You may not think this will be useful, but when you have to save your best friend from the hands of a Minotaur you might find reconsider. In this world where myths clash with the modern age, prepare to go on quests and become on of the greatest warriors of all time, demi-god.

I have read all the rules on the RP board as well as RP guides, but I may sometimes do something wrong. Just kindly let me know and I will gladly apologize and rectify my mistake to the best of my capabilities. In return I will use my discretion with any issue.
Got any questions or ideas on how this Rp can be improved? Post or PM me!
1. Write in complete sentences with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Do not use chat-speak in the post (In OOC it's fine).
2. Try to write at least one-two good paragraphs each post. No one liners. I understand the writer's block, or you can't post much at the moment. But please no one liners. It's hard for most of us to write what we would like to say because you posted a one liner.
3. When speaking Out of Character (OOC) please use ((OOC)) or [OOC].
4. You will be polite at all times even if other people are not being polite. If I ask you to change something about your post please do not argue.
5. There is no character limit as everybody knows how much they can handle, but try to keep genders and the number of people in each cabin as equal as possible. (Big rule right here. We have more girls than guys. xP Please help to keep us even. )
6. Battles and romance are encouraged but keep it PG-13.
7. If you have suggestions for prophecies or plot twists, PM me and we will discuss it.
8. If you would like to be anything besides a demi-god, PM me with a good argument for why you think you should make a satyr, nymph, roman demi-god, etc. as an active character and we may be able figure out how to make it work. However, make sure you are an active and/or a thorough RPer or I might be reluctant to say yes.
9. I will RP any NPC character such as Chiron when needed. (Both me and Bubbles do this. If you ask, we might let you RP something for us.)
10. If you do not post for two weeks without letting me know why, I will assume you are dead and you will be removed from the RP.
11. You must have permission by the other rper if you want to kill a character. Trust me, I don't want someone to be complaining because their character died when they weren't suppose to. Please have permission. And if you can, send it to me so I know.
12. You must be prepared to not always have your character win every battle, though they cannot die unless you allow others to kill them, they may have to take some time to heal using nectar and ambrosia. As well, using powers makes demi-gods lose their energy, feeling tired and drained, so keep that in mind.
13. Break a rule (mine or CS’s) and you receive a strike. Three strikes and you are banned for a week. Three more strikes and you are permanently banned from this RP.
14. Please keep in past tense. Most of us it's easier to write in past tense because it has already happened.

Inside the RP News
03/04/11: A new prophecy was told to Dresyn, and the whole camp is psyched about this quest that many have already volunteered.
26/03/11:Seth died and the quest members are on the last length of their journey. In camp, many things are happening as well as death coming and the big quest about to come true.
13/03/11: Sam was announced as the daughter of Atlas, the titan that holds up the sky.
05/03/11: A quest was announced and the six set off on the quest.
02/03/11: Some demi-gods have dispersed from the campfire and are getting ready to sleep. Valerian, a daughter of the Roman god Aeolus (same name in Greek) has arrived at camp and several campers are gathered at the infirmary to find out why she is there. It is becoming slowly evident that she is not like the other demi-gods.
28/02/11: All the demi-gods except for Rain and Dresyn (they have some drama going on) are attending a campfire meeting where Ian and Ife Strae have been claimed as children of Zeus, and Chiron announced the first Capture the Flag game of the season. Make sure that your cabin (or head counselor if your cabin has one) decides on their alliances for the game and which color their team will be, Blue or Red.
22/02/11: It’s the beginning of the summer session at Camp Half-Blood, when most demi-gods train at camp or go on quests. New campers are getting acquainted with each other.

Weapon of Choice: "The pen is mightier than the sword" is not just an expression when it comes to his preferred weapon. He carries with him at all times a mini dagger disguised inside a functioning pen which he uses more often than the dagger. However he also carries a big sword around when it is convenient (as seen in his picture).
History: He used to date a daughter of Poseidon but she was killed a few years back. This has made him oddly more reclusive as well as more attractive to most because everybody knows the cloud that goes with his silver lining.
Crush: He still misses his old girlfriend so it may take some encouraging to get him to think about anybody else.

History: When Quill turned twelve everything turned for the worst, at least, that's what she thought. She woke up one day to find strange swirling tattoos on her back and left arm, she couldn't remove them, so she hid them from her dad. She had gone to school normally for a few months after that, but and something happened while she was walking in the forest near her home...An owl fluttered up to her, looking her full on in the face, and then pecked her left arm where a tattoo was. Quill had tried to shoo it away, but it wouldn't leave, and Quill felt it was somehow attached to the appearance of the tattoos in some way...Later, when Quill was soon to turn thirteen, her father and herself were attacked by a hellhound while walking in the forest. Quill's owl attacked the beast, and it ran away yelping. Her father had spoken to her that night, he told her that Quill's mother was Athena and he figured she had been claimed when the owl had come to her. That summer, after Quill turned thirteen, her father sent her to Camp Half-Blood.

History: Tradgedy has always followed Beka wherever she is or tradgedy strikes whomever she grows close too. When she was seven, her school class took a trip to the world trade center the moment she left the building at the back of her class the first plane hit. She knows tragedy lurks behind her every step, and she resents her mother for it because she knows that tragedy is always there. Because of this she is unbearably shy, and she can hardly look at you in the face if she's just met you, her voice just a mumble as she looks down at the ground.

Dresyn headed out of his forge and headed up to the dining pavilion. He knew he needed to eat, but he wasn't hungry. He listened to Chiron's announcement and heard the cheers. He covered one ear. "Ow." He listened around. Everyone was excited, everyone was on edge for this. He shook his head and got up.

Val eyed everyone curiously. She didn't know why everyone was so excited. It was just a game. That's how you learn, Val. Val looked up. "Dad..." Trust me Val. You'll see. Val gripped her staff tightly.

Sitting alone at her table, Erika grinned. Capture the Flag would definitely be something to remember. The daughter of Demeter could tell that Aria was planning something, and it would most likely be for the good of her team; of course it would! She absent-mindedly cut a piece of chicken that was on her plate with a fork and knife, occasionally popping a piece of the meat into her mouth, anticipation building for the game later.

Dresyn headed out to the tables at the edge of the forest. All the weapons the Hepheastus kids had made that would be used in Capture the Flag. Hopefully, a blind kid can actually do something here. Dresyn trailed his nimble fingers on the weapons. He listened around, feeling for any problems with weapons before pulling back. He knew better than to tamper with any weapons. And he rather not have someone killed.

Val looked out to the forest, the wind whipping through the top of the trees. Playing games is a way to learn. She looked up and sighed softly. She knew this was going to end badly. She was a Roman camper. She'd probably be maimed or killed during this. Wouldn't be a first, her mind said.

Adrian grinned and lifted his goblet as he stood next to Kimon. "Yeah!" He yelled, it sounded primordial and harsh. Just like an old Greek warrior preparing for battle.
As Adrian grinned at the blood lust that hide itself in the excited air. He got so excited that his dark ebony wings sprung from his back and ripped through his thick trench coat. He looked like an angel of death, preparing to harvest the souls of sinners.
Adrian gripped the rugged edged cross necklace that hung around his neck cackled as it rippled and elongated into a long deadly sharp scythe in his hand. "Kimon, brother, are you ready for Capture the Flag?" He snickered darkly as he gripped "Aíma" in his hand.


Kimon joined in with the jeering but was a bit awestruck when Adrian allowed his wings to show. "Brother, are you sure you want your wings to be seen?" He whispered but was clearly not heard. James sighed and his wings also came out. Though they didn't look as magnificent since his came out of his head.
James glanced up at his brother and nodded. He rubbed his belt buckle and grinned as it sprang to life in his hands. He gripped his small curved blade, "Thanásima"'s, hilt.
