◙Character Name:◙Bently Carlson
◙Age:◙Twenty Five ;; 21
◙Gender:◙Male
◙Personality:◙Bently is none other than what you would expect from your everyday, average jock; headstrong, confidant, and rough around the edges. As mentioned before, headstrong is the perfect word to describe him. Bent is totally hot headed and thinks way too highly of himself, but most guys, maybe not as extremely as Bent, are. He has this whole attitude about him that he could so beat you at anything, which can make him a bit of a sore loser whenever he does lose. Confidant? Hella yeah! He's very straight forward and charming, one of those guys that is really smooth with his words and seems to always know the right things to say in multiple situations. He doesn't back down easy, and he has no issue with saying what’s on his mind; no matter how strange or stupid it may seem. This is to his advantage though, finally a guy that isn't afraid to ask for directions! Bently’s for sure a dare devil, and would do anything on the spot for a good thrill. The blonde had been found to be somewhat of a showoff because of this though, which works its own sort of magic in good and bad ways. Many find Bently to have that rugged, almost rough looking demeanor thanks to his dominant stature and attitude. Sarcasm’s is a huge part of Bently's vocabulary, but all teenagers seem to have a wide habit of speaking this way. He has a punk sort of clothing style sometimes when he goes through his stages, but they never really last too long. He can be rather demanding, and expect too much of people sometimes, but he's fairly understanding and doesn’t get too mad over the small things in life. Beside his overly confidant, macho outside appearance, the guy really is a sweetheart. He's very protective over people he's close to, and finds himself insecure over leaving them along without a watchful eye. He can be very flirty and actually romantic, but it takes some time to burrow through his tough walls of sarcasm and uneasy trust. Bent is definitely one of the toughest people you can find out on the streets, not necessarily gangster tough or anything like that, but he can take on emotional and physical pain unbelievably. He just pushed though all his troubles like they're no problem at all, and to him they really aren't.

◙History:◙Bently was born into a rough part of town on a late July night; July 2 to be exact. Bently's mother, Kaitlin, was now a single, teenage mother at the age of seventeen; but it was the start of something beautiful. Kaitlin had had the courage to keep her baby, and not discard his life with abortion or refuse to know him by adopting him out. No, Kaitlin was going through the struggle, and so Bently was given a chance at a hard, but altogether good life. Kaitlin taught Bently right from wrong, taught him how to think, and more importantly how to treat other people. She always had this profound belief that no matter how much you may dislike a person, you always treat them like a friend. Bently shares her beliefs, like to be hospitable and always friendly, and keep family close. Bently always looked up to his mother, and saw her for her, the amazing person she really was. She was beautiful, gorgeous inside and out. Sure she was young, very young, but yet mature. They didn't have much, living in a tight two bedroom apartment with sometimes more food than less day by day, but they survived. They had each other, and that was good enough, although at the time Bently may have disagreed being only seven years of age.
Bently was soon to find out that even the most innocent people can have enemies. One late night when Kaitlin had gotten home late from work, the two retreated to Bently's room for a story and then soon after bed. Bently crawled under his covers, and slowly started to drift off to the sound of his mother’s safe, soft voice. Then there was the sound of their front apartment door creaking open, and his mother’s voice suddenly halted to an eerie silence. Then there were footsteps, and Kaitlin shoved her child under the bed, whispering for him to be silent, and not to come out until she said. He watched in bewilderment as his mother retreated from the room, and started down the hall out of his eyesight. Bently waited with anticipation. There was a loud boom, and Bently swore the floor shook while the sounds of his mother’s screams filled his ears. Tears filled his eyes as his vision blurred, and the small blonde boy covered his ears with such a force that he began to see stars and soon the world went black.
Bently awoke the next day in a hospital bed, bandages around his head. The boy had pushed so hard on his head that he had pinched off a nerve and blocked blood flow to his brain, but there was no serious damage. The first question he asked was where his mom was, but the nurse just gave him a look of pity and kept on writing down notes before bustling out of the room. Only a day later did Bently find out he was an orphan, and he was sent to a group home that wasn't the best place, but it wasn't the worst. It wasn't like the home he used to have, safe and warm; instead this was a place to dread and fear. Bently was constantly picked on, called names and occasionally beaten up by a group of boys a few years older than him. He was defenseless, alone in the world and only seven, but the tides soon turned as his attitude changed completely.
In order to survive this hell house, Bently had to toughen up; there was simply no other option. No one wanted him, he was a troubled chilled scarred with a traumatic past; no one wanted one of those. By the time he was fourteen, Bently was quite the handful. He was always starting fights, winning for once against those boys that thought they had been so cool. He was starting to get into drugs and other awful things; but the caretakers just turned a blind eye, no one cared.
When he turned 16 Bently ran off, as far away from his orphanage as he could get. He was on his own now, but really he had been for 9 years now. He was able to stop his drug addiction after somehow making some sensible friends, but when one addiction starts another follows. His past was too unbearable, and with no more than a handful of food a day, Bently felt his life was spinning out of control. He started to cut his wrists, feeling as if there was no one to turn to now, nowhere to go, and death would be so much easier for everyone else. This is when his dragon was awakened, when Bently took a lethal cut to an artery in his wrist and nearly bled out completely. He survived though, thanks to his dragon, and now has turned his life around.
Bently is now somewhat back to his old self, though not completely. Once someone really gets to know him, they find his true values that are much like his mother’s; but his appearance is much more rugged and dangerous.

◙Character Name:◙Ashton Williams
◙Age:◙Nineteen ;; 19
◙Gender:◙Female
◙Personality:◙Ashton is your average party girl that loves nothing more than to get into trouble. When it comes to boys, she never stays with one very long; giving her a swinger reputation. She just can't resist the next best guy that walks buy her, and can't help but wanting more. She can't really make up her mind on anything; being boys, clothes, or anything in between. Ash is quite the little dare devil, and there's pretty much nothing she wouldn't do. Although there is this whole display of a cute little girl that just wants to party on the surface, as people peel back her layers they find her true colors are not ones they had been expecting. She is fairly dark and devious, going to any extent to get what she wants. She has a view of rationality, which honestly she has to use to cover up her insane, crazy, almost delusional side; but she does a fairly good job keeping this side under control and hidden from the eyes of others. Ash can be very intimidating and assertive which can be a major road block in her way when it comes to not pissing people off. Due to her past she can deal with being alone, but not for long. It drives her crazy not to be around someone, and it's almost as though she craves for human attention. She can be sweet and caring despite this whole devious side to her, but it's only shown to those she really cares about.

◙History:◙Ashton was on her own from the start, her parents both abandoning her in a time of need for their presence. They didn't care though, and their beautiful daughter paid the price for their careless actions. Ashton was dumped in an orphanage known by the name of Little Children from her first day out of the hospital, a warm day in mid-July. Nuns ran the adoption center, and they really weren't the nicest of people, or at least behind the scenes. Sure, they called children god's blessings, but Ashton grew skeptical as she aged slowly, finding they really didn't give a d**n. Ash doesn’t remember much from her youngest years, the ones spent day after day, hour after hour locked up in the nursery behind the protective wooden bars of her crib. The memory starts when she was five, moved out of the deadly silent nursery years back. As a toddler, she was placed in a daycare looking center all day. As seemingly boring and tedious other children fortunate enough to have loving parents may find playing in a daycare all day, this was Ashton's only time of feeling safe; protected by the watchful eyes of looking-to-be-foster-parents. As her days came to their end, the fear and sudden anticipation would set in. As mentioned before, the nuns were not as gracious as they appeared; in more ways than one. The first was that they saved most of the money fundraised and donated for their own personal use, only spending money for the bare minimum needed for the kids. The sleeping areas were horrid, a lot like what you would see in a horror movie. The walls paint had turned a dull, eerie green and was peeling in corners and other areas revealing the brown wood and in some cases holes that were hidden once before. The floors were scratched and worn, even splintery so you needed to watch your step in some places. Just sleeping in those rooms along with the rust bedframes with old, hard mattresses covering them made her quiver, but the sleeping conditions were the worst of her problems. Every night the nuns would get their revenge, beat kids for scenes earlier that day, or even just random children to get their stress out. Ash was a regular victim. Her smart tongue and fearless outlook never got her anything but large bruises and bloody lips, and still she never learned. She was always causing trouble, running her mouth or teasing the other children, doing anything just to push her “care takers” buttons. She was pretty good at it to say the least, and her punishments were no less if not more brutal as time passed.
Ashton ran away when she finally turned 14, no longer having the strength to endure her orphanage. She didn't have much trouble making money or living on her own; there were plenty of eager to pay boys at parties she often attended. It was wrong, completely wrong, but Ashton had no other way to feed herself. However, she survived because of this, and eventually found a job with a fashion/clothing line and had become fairly prosperous being higher up in the rankings. She regrets what she did in the past, but what’s in the past is in the past with Ash; she has no time to dwell on things.
