Welcome To Camp Half-Blood
Home To Demigods

Camp Half-Blood is a place where demigods go to escape the outside monsters. The camp is surrounded by a border that does not allow any monsters into the camp. Usually demigods do not ever leave unless they have an outside family. Demigods do use weapons crafted from celestial bronze, imperial gold, or stygian iron to kill these monsters, but its hard to do so. Once a demigod's powers are awakened monsters will attack them which is why this camp was created. Usually demigod's powers are awakened in their early teens. Many kids aren't claimed right away, usually they have to wait for at least a week before their godly parent claims them. When claiming happens a symbol appears over their head showing which godly parent they have. Until that is figured out demigods stay in the Hermes cabin.

Gavina awoke with a start inside of the Zeus cabin. It was only 6:30 AM. She took a few minutes to get out of bed, but once she did she was as energetic and peppy as usual. Brushing out her hair and putting on a comfortable flannel shirt over a tank top, she slipped on her Converse. It was by far her favorite thing to wear, and she had a good feeling about today. Pacing for a few moments, she finally decided to step outside, ready to start the new day. Her stomach was already growling, and she couldn't wait for breakfast.
Unable to decide what to do, Gavina took a walk through the woods. Heading towards Zephyros Creek, she walked along the edge of the river, balancing on the edge.

James had been awake at 5:00 am. There was only one other person in his cabin, which wasn't as fun for him. There weren't as many people to prank. He was doing his routine run along the beach, enjoying the breeze rolling in from the water. After about an hour and a half, he started to jog back to his cabin so he could take Mickie to breakfast. Not like she really needed an escort, but whatever.

Ryver rolled over in her bed, trying to wake up all the way. She looked at her alarm clock. 5:00 am. Finally getting out of bed, she stretched. She quickly got dressed in a sea green t-shirt, black leather jacket, black ripped skinny jeans, black converse, and threw on the necklace her father had gifted her once she got to camp. She ran a hairbrush through her black wavy hair then set out to the creek. Hearing the rush of the water always calmed her. Same with the sea rolling against the beach, which she would probably head down to later on. She sat down on the bank and put her hand in the water, closing her eyes and letting the water relax her and wake her up.

Being the son of Apollo, Jacob was always up just as the sun was starting to rise. You could say he was an early bird. Nothing really changed. He was up, bright eyed and bushy tailed (no pun intended), and was getting dressed. He threw on his orange Camp Half-Blood shirt and some blue jeans, brought together by black Adidas. He ran a hand through his blonde hair and put some sunglasses over his blue eyes, heading to the archery range to get some practice in before he had to start doing his routine activities for the day.

Heath

Male- Son of Hades-Location: The dining area

Heath moaned. The sun flooded the cabin and blazed right through his eyelids. He didn’t want to get up yet. He heard some clatter from his cabin-mates and he sighed. “Can you be any quieter?” He sighed, face smooshed against his pillow. The clattering continued, forcing Heath awake. The son of Hades rolled out of bed and shivered as the crisp morning air washed over his bare chest. He walked over to the bathroom, rubbing his forehead and running his hand through his hair. After he got ready, he walked over to his dresser. There weren’t too many clothes but it was enough for him. He took out a pair of semi-ripped jeans and a black t-shirt. He tugged them on and went outside, pulling a Camp hoodie over his head. He stumbled slightly down the stairs but regained his balance quickly. The walk to breakfast was peaceful, except for the occasional roar from Heath’s stomach. He arrived at the dining area and got some food, sitting and wondering if Gavina or any other people he didn’t hate we’re up.

Valaria was one of the first campers to wake up but to be honest she never really managed to get to sleep. She never could as she was constantly hearing voices in her head which kept her awake. It had been just after dawn when she’d left her cabin to go to the lake. Though it didn’t block out all the noise it did distract her from them. Why couldn’t she drown them out? Why was she constantly hearing them? She knew her father was Thanatos who was the god of gentle death but why was she able to see and hear the dead? Why? All her life she was ridiculed and pushed away, heck even her own step father put her in a mental hospital because of her so called gift. Shaking her head, Val sighed as she stood up and headed towards the dining pavilion. She’d not made any friends at camp yet even though they were all demigods like she was but she was still a freak. Val arrived at the pavilion to find only one other camper awake and that was one of the Hades’ children.

Heath was chewing his food when he saw a girl approaching him. He swallowed and looked up at her, scooting over if she wanted to sit down. The wooden bench creaked as he moved but he didn’t pay attention to it. The real question on his mind was who was this girl and why is she coming over. “Um. Hi.” He said, shoveling more cereal in his mouth as he waited her response, always keeping an eye on her.

Joseph was still laying in bed, listening to to the peaceful sounds of the quiet morning. He rolled around for a bit longer, trying to get more sleep before finally deciding to get up. He sat up, noticing that his cabin-mate was still asleep. He rubbed his eyes, yawning some. He stood up, giving his arms a good stretched before collapsing back into his bed. With his limbs stretched out he stared up at the ceiling, not wanting to start the day quite yet.

Aidan had gotten up early, like usual to demigods of Apollo. He practically hopped out of bed and headed to the small bathroom to get ready. He pulled on a random light colored t-shirt and a pair of dark jeans and headed out of the cabin. Of course he headed straight to the Hades cabin, where his best friend was probably still sleeping away. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, a small smile on his face as he waited for Ashlyn to come out of the cabin.

Jackie practically dragged herself out of bed. She never really got much sleep, very unlike her cabin-mate, who was clearly sound asleep as usual. She quietly got up and headed to the bathroom. She pulled on some leggings and a darker graphic tee before leaving the cabin and heading to the dining hall. She was hoping to get there before it became a bit packed. When she got there she noticed a couple other people were already there but ignored them and headed to get some food and sitting down at the Morpheus table. She munched on some pancakes and fruit quietly.
