11 years have passed since the end of the Kanto-Johto War. The war was brutal, and it left many people bitter and cold after the beloved Kanto Champion surrendered to Lance without a fight. Today, the economy of Kanto has stabilized, and there are new technological marvels. However, the region's government, the Indigo Plateau, is led by a Johtonian. This leaves some native Kantonians angry, and they have decided to take a stand. Mobs, street gangs, and other forms of petty organized crime have become Kantonian Patriots, fighting for the region's independence. Among them all, none were as powerful or respected as Team Rocket. Team Rocket's exploits meet no moral ends. If it means returning Kanto to an independent nation, they will do anything they have to. The infamous organization scours the city streets to look for eager-minded, impoverished trainers to join their ranks. This is where your story begins.

Rules

RP Rules
Always follow CS rules regarding illegal activities, meaning no street drugs, no non-consensual or otherwise illegal romance, and no excessive violence, including torture or abuse of humans or Pokemon.
Team Rocket characters must be at least 18 years of age.
Use [censored] for cursing, but don't have a post filled with censored out swears.
Trainers can be played by anyone, but special characters, such as Giovanni, Admins, and the like will be played by me or anyone I deem fit to be a mod.
Everyone starts as a Grunt, but I will occasionally give permission to allow a higher rank. If you want a higher rank, PM me and depending on how many grunts we have compared to other ranks, I'll consider it.

Team Rocket Rules
Always obey your superiors.
Consider your rank when attempting to steal a trainer's Pokemon.
If you value your family's safety, don't do anything stupid around cops.
Do whatever you have to in order to complete your mission, just don't compromise it.

Important Information

This RP takes place during the events of FireRed and LeafGreen.

Grunts can choose from a level 5 Ekans, Koffing, Rattata, or Zubat as their first Pokemon

There is a hierarchy within Team Rocket ranks. Researcher is not part of the chain of promotions, but you can choose to play as a Researcher rather than a Grunt if you wish. This is the chain of promotions: Grunt->Agent->Elite Agent->Officer->Admin->Executive. The Grunts wear the typical Team Rocket uniform. Agents wear a white tee shirt with a black tank top over it with the Team Rocket logo on it, as well as black shorts for men, skirts for women, and the same hat as the grunts. The Elite Agents wear black pants, as well as a black leather jacket with white sleeves that has the Team Rocket logo on the back behind a Poke Ball, and instead of the hat that Grunts and Agents wear, they wear a black beret. They also have a visor that tells them information about their opponents' Pokemon. Officers wear a black short-sleeved turtleneck, a utility vest, and men wear black cargo pants, while women wear black cargo shorts. Admins wear the same uniform as Proton and Petrel from HGSS, and Executives wear the same uniform as Ariana and Archer from HGSS.

Grunts can only steal from old people and children, Agents can steal from teenagers and women, Elite Agents can steal from young adults, Officers can steal from police, Admins can steal from Gym Leaders, and Executives can steal from the Elite Four.

In order to obtain a non-native Pokemon, you must take part in a smuggling operation.

For every Pokemon you steal, you will gain a bounty on your head. When you steal a Pokemon, the bounty goes up by $3000. You can lower the bounty on your head by turning in stolen Pokemon to the police. However, the police don't actually care if the Pokemon you give them are actually stolen or not. If you don't have a bounty, the police will reward you if you keep your record clean long enough. On the other hand, if you have a very high bounty on your head, you'll gain more respect from your teammates, which can help you get promoted.

Caelan is a silent person, but he will talk when he needs to. He has a deep-seated hatred of Johtonians, because they burned down his childhood home during the war, killing his parents and his beloved Pokemon. After the war was over, he joined Team Rocket, deciding that if the former Champion wouldn't fight for Kanto's independence, he would.

History
Caelan's parents were true-hearted Kanto Patriots during the war. Unfortunately, when he was visiting his grandparents in the Sevii Islands, the Johto Army burned down many houses in his home town of Vermillion City, including his own. His parents, as well as his beloved Nidoran♂ died in the fire. Ever since the war ended, he's hated the Johtonians, as well as the former Champion who surrendered to Lance without even putting up a fight. In his mind, a true leader would have died fighting before surrendering. He recently joined Team Rocket out of his patriotism.

History
As a child, she lived in a single parent house in Kanto. Her mother left her to and orphanage to escape the war. She grew up troubled and went to jail several times for acts of vandalism. By the time she joined Team Rocket she was 18 with a heart full of hatred.

Personality: Is very bold and daring during heists and escapes, but afterwards he is very reflective and quiet. In heated discussions he makes threats and will keep to them if needed but he will completely melt if he sees a cat Pokemon.


History: Nick lived in the lap of luxury early in his life being the son of a rich Kantoian businessman but after the events of the Kanto-Johto War his father profited from the stabilization of the country by swearing allegiance to Johto disgusted Nick left his family and fortune seeking a way to gain independence for his country and himself. Although he didn't succeed in the beginning he learnt quickly and signed up for Team Rocket looking to make a name for himself.
