What would it be like to race across the universe through time and space, to see the wonders of an eternal blackness, swarming with unique life forms, in the blink of an eye? As long as man has looked up at the stars, deep down in the core of his being, he has wanted to fly amongst them, seeing a strange new world. A very select few people have the privilege of seeing the universe through their own eyes. In a seemingly ordinary but very old fashioned police call box from the 1960's, these people can fulfill man's desire to travel through the stars. But, they are far from alone.
As a matter of fact, the only reason they are even traveling through time and space at all is because of a very peculiar man. Technically, he isn't a man, but an alien, a Time Lord to be very precise. One can say accurately say he is a man of many faces. Using an evolutionary trick, he can cheat death by a process known as regeneration, but that isn't what makes Time Lords unique. As their name implies, they are effectively lords of time, as they have figured out how to manage the thing.
The very lucky people that get to travel with this fellow are known as his companions. Standing by his side, they help keep order in time and space with the Doctor as the figurehead. With such a remarkable situation, no one can predict what happens, not even the last lord of time.

~This is for members of the Doctor Who Fan Club. If you are not a member, you may not join. If you really want to join, join the fan club!
~No powerplaying, god modding, mary-sues or gary-sues.
~There is no post minimum, however, please have decent punctuation and capitalization. Also, try to have a post where you don't trap yourself or others in a rut. For example:

Generic character wanders around.

Generic person glances around.
*Yet more posts later*
Generic person skips rope.

These posts aren't helping anyone at all.
~No inappropriate language. If you absolutely must, star it out or put in a euphemism: Heck, darn, fudge, Etc.
~No more than two characters a person.
~You may have one of your characters be a companion.
~Try to keep genders even.
~Have some character creativity. I would rather not see all of the companions be human women between 18-25 in love with the Doctor.
~Your characters may not date each other.
~As on the fanclub, the staff are in charge here as well.
~Keep OC chat to a minimum. The fan club is available for commentary on what is happening, and what is currently going on with Doctor Who.
~Fights may not be in OC chat. If you have any complaints, contact me, or a member of the staff that is participating in the fan club.
~As there has been a few complaints, you cannot go more than 6 posts between two people. (Or three each) Once that has been reached, both people must hang around until someone else posts a roleplay post.

The Doctor:
Currently being played by wickedwolfgirl. He will be converted into a shared character a little later in the roleplay.

Appearance~He is about 5'8" and quite slim. His hair is a lovely shade of dark red and ends up in a sort of snowboarder style. His eyes are a light sky blue, and he has long lashes. Like a few of his previous regenerations, he has a brilliant smile that is quite contagious. He looks like he is in his mid to late twenties. He wears a black suit with a bright green shirt under it. He never wears a tie, and his shirt is often half-tucked. He almost always wears strangely patterned Converse.
Personality~He is a bit quieter and more thoughtful than his previous incarnations. He still has the terrible 2000 words a minute ramble speed habit, but he doesn't do it as often. When he gets excited, has coffee or sugar, or is very pleased with a companion's performance, he behaves like an ADD hyperactive toddler off medication. He gets lonelier than his previous regenerations, so the more companions he has, the happier he is. He is easily baffled by slang and pop culture references, and is positive that Human TV executives are actually aliens brainwashing the people, though he can't work out how. He has a peculiar sense of humor, and secretly enjoys confusing companions to some degree.

Handy-Dandy Guide to the Roleplay Whoniverse
Here, I will post information about species and places I have made up for the purposes of this roleplay.

Sheltana

• Classification: Planet
• Pronunciation: SHELL-ta-na
• Key Features:
  ~Lost Planet
  ~Home to a highly intelligent humanoid Species called the Shraiy (SHRAY)
• Environmental Information:
  ~Tropical paradise
  ~Two major land masses called Ner and Manj
  ~Freshwater oceans
  ~Massive variety of life

Narian

• Classification: Alien
• Pronunciation: NA-ri-an
• Key Features:
  ~Exist as a shadowy, almost angelic, form with no distinguishing facial features.
  ~Feed off of negative emotions: fear, panic, chaos, anger, hate, etc.
  ~Defeated by more positive emotions. Serenity is the most effective after Bliss.
  ~Hop around from planet to planet by tearing a rip in the time vortex. They seem to appear from a rent in the air.
  ~If they touch a living creature, the creature looses all emotions, including the will to fight, so they collapse helplessly until the Narian leave.
• Home Planet: Unknown, as they appear all over the place.
• Language: Only the Narian speak it. It sounds like death whispering for your name. It sends creatures into a panic when they hear it. This language, and languages like it that cause panic and chaos, are nicknamed Pan Pipes by the Doctor.
• Danger Level: Relatively low, as they do not cause long term damage normally. But if they stay longer, they have been known to destroy whole planets from the chaos they spread.
