whether you were from a different planet, or a different dimension. it doesn't matter. because you are here now. you were taken from you own life, and trapped onto... this planet... those who lived here before you got here, are NPCs. they are just there, to make the planet seem more lively. they call this planet, 'Ethernet' the person who trapped you here?

you are on the planet, that you were born. you are there... it is raining... you hear footsteps around you. whipping around, you spot a black figure moving in the night. as it disappears from your view, you cautiously step towards where you saw the figure. with a flash of lightning, you see the figure... long white hair... the eyes... the eyes got mesmerized into your brain... bloodshot red. it was just a little girl, who looked 5 or 6... yet she looked deadly. she reached out her hand, as if to say, 'help me'.. without being able to stop... whether it was to help her, or to hurt her... you reached out and made contact with her. suddenly, you were swept away in a big breeze. darkness surrounded you, and you fell unconscious. when you awoke, you saw the life that was around you...

ever since the day that you woke up, you have found that you can die... but you will just reawaken... there is no resting in peace in this world. your goal? make friends with others who aren't NPCs and take on the little girl that brought you here.

contrast to his brother, Canada is calm, shy, sensitive, and hates fighting (But, it is said that he is a very strong fighter). Despite this, he is often mistaken for his brother and has found himself in trouble for incidents that America has caused. When he is not being mistaken for his brother, other nations tend to forget that he exists. He is also passive aggressive and was once able to make America cry by arguing with him for over three hours and pointing out every single one of his faults. It is also implied in a chapter he loves maple syrup as he is shown offering America some for his coffee. According to Himaruya, he's always been a rather good tactician. Canada also likes to play ice hockey and lacrosse, and drives a tractor on his days off.

He also has a pet bear named Kumajirou, who, unfortunately, always forgets Canada's name. In return, Canada always forgets Kumajirou's name as well.

England is a fanciful, blunt, obstinate former pirate who used to torment Spain. In modern times he claims to be a gentleman; however he is cynical, sharp-tongued, prone to rough speech, and yearns for the golden years. He often uses British vocabulary, such as 'bloody' and 'git'. He is noted for being horrible at cooking which has caused America, his former charge, to have "bad" taste in food. England is also, apparently, the "king of losing things", and France has described him as "somehow extremely useless when it comes to matters not pertaining to himself or America". He can be described as "spacey" because of his strong belief in magic, spirits, fairies, and other fantasy creatures. He has the ability to perform magic, such as spells and curses, and can also summon demons and other magical creatures. He is able to communicate with supernatural beings, and is not limited to creatures from his homeland, being able to interact with youkai and spirits from Japanese folklore. He also happens to have fantasy friends, such as a flying bunny, unicorns, fairies, gnomes, and Captain Hook, but oddly enough he did not believe in Santa Claus until Finland came and brought them presents. Despite this, England often ridicules America's belief in aliens and Tony. According to the author's notes, England's interests include embroidery, craftsmanship, literature, rock music, and giving scathing criticisms to America's movies. He appears to be sharp-witted and surprisingly creative, although he seems to have rather bad luck. According to the author, he is rarely afraid of anything, and is rather interested in ghost stories, especially if he can use them to startle America. He also seems to be very stubborn and strong-willed, and does not easily succumb to stress or pressure. He is shown to be startlingly mature at times, and is very friendly with young or cute people and magical creatures. He also has a quite strong sense of responsibility, and has been seen scolding France and America when they don't take things seriously. In some recent notes, the author has stated that England has a very rich and unlimited personality, and that he can't decide whether England is a serious person or not.

Because of his status as an island nation, England is pretty distant and prefers to work alone. Perhaps because of this, he does not know how to express himself, leading to others often misunderstanding him. He is also depicted as being self-deprecating or tsundere. For example, despite his generally harsh behaviour, he is definitely stated to have a softer side, and seems to genuinely care for other nations. This is illustrated by the fact that he likes giving them advice, yet specifically mentions that he "does not do it because he's worried about them". Despite all this, he highly values his country's pride, and sometimes comes over as very arrogant. Also, every year when the Fourth of July comes around, his condition collapses.

In a blog post England is depicted as not being able to swim to illustrate how British characters can't swim in movies.

A peculiarity of Link, as well as other characters, is the several different incarnations of the person throughout the Legend of Zelda series. He is implied to be somewhat sleepy or lazy at first since at some point near the beginning of every game except the first two, he is sleeping or dozing off.

Since Link is not usually shown to speak, his personality is mainly determined by his actions or others' comments about him. It is shown that Link possesses basic characteristics found in a heroic character; bravery, selflessness, compassion, wisdom, and kindness. He would even goes as to save others that were his former enemies. These characteristics (along with his purity) allow him to wield the full Triforce in some of the games without a problem.

He is also loyal towards the ones close to him. This is frequently shown in each series, as he protects Zelda and others from any evil that threatens them without hesitation.
