High King Torygg had been slain by the Voice, and Ulfric Stormcloak, Jarl of Windhelm, had been branded a traitor by the Empire. Skyrim was flung into civil war as he and his Stormcloaks fought for freedom -- for the Empire, and for the worship of Talos which had been banned.

He had been captured, taken to Helgen, where he would face his execution. The rebellion was sure to end there. Or was it?

As a Nord man from Cyrodiil was about to face the Executioner's axe, a vicious roar echoed through the skies over Helgen, and a dragon -- thought legend for thousands of years -- landed on a nearby roof. The dragon proceeded to level the village. Few people made it out, but Ulfric Stormcloak survived. And so did the mysterious Nord, who went on to warn the Jarl of Whiterun about the dragons. He would later go on to slay that dragon and absorb its soul.

All heard the rumble that was the call of the mysterious Greybeards from the ancient monastery of High Hrothgar sitting atop the 7,000 steps.

All over Skyrim, civil war raged between the Stormcloaks and the Legions of the Empire. The Thalmor roved the land, taking Talos worshipers and others that they deemed necessary for their purposes into their custody. Dragons were rising from their graves, and seemed even more unstoppable in their threat.

1.) Tess' and Nick's rules apply, as always.
2.) Do not be rude while in OOC.
3.) When in OOC, use [({ brackets })].
4.) Keep genders even. It's not fair if there's 40 females and 2 males.
5.) No one will be the Dovahkiin. He will be NPC. I don't want anyone being more powerful than someone else.
6.) To make this realistic, if you're in the Dark Brotherhood or the Thieves Guild, you can't join, like, the Companions. They're supposed to be an honorable band of warriors ... an assassin/thief doesn't exactly fit the bill.
7.) Any sexuality is welcome. If you don't like that, leave. You can be a homo in Skyrim, why not be one in a Skyrim roleplay? I can't believe I just said that ... lol
8.) Considering this takes place in Skyrim, home of the Nords, I want there to be more Nords than any other race.
9.) You can have as many characters as you can handle. If you don't think you can handle having as many as you have, kill some off. It's that simple.
10.) Every 15 pages -- that's 150 posts -- a dragon will attack somewhere. :D
11.) I don't care how much you write as long as it's something someone can reply to. That means no, "he sat," or "she smiled."
12.) No godmodding.
13.) No powerplaying.
14.) No Gary/Mary-Sues.
