Vampires. The Holy Horseman. These are the main threats to the remaining numbers of humanity. The only thing standing in their way of killing off every last human? The Moon Demon Company, centered and run by the Hiragii family. The Hiragii family is known for being of noble birth and great honor..but also great betrayal, and manage four other noble families within the Moon Demon Company. The three special students under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Guren Ichinose are Yūichirō Hyakuya, Yoichi Saotome, and Shihō Kimizuki. These three possess weapons of the Black Demon Series, the highest ranking and deadliest of all weapons.
Yūū is Ichinose' subordinate and someone Ichinose considers close family and seems to secretly support Yuu's want to bring back Mikaela Hyakuya who he just discovered is alive and well..but living as a vampire slave to the queen Krul Tepes.

Cursed Gear
Black Demon Series~ The Black Demon Series are the strongest Curse Gear because they contain first rank demons. Many of them are aggressive, while others specialize in power amplification and weapon enchantment. Not many people are capable of wielding a Black Demon weapon. Anyone who is a candidate for the Black Demon Series has been experimented on, but these candidates are exceedingly difficult to create. Successful candidates are even more rare. Anyone bearing this rank of weapon can easily kill multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons.
Yaksha- They are second rank demons. Like the Black Demon series, many of them are aggressive, while others specialize in power amplification and weapon enchantment.
Bodhisattva- They are third rank demons. Like the previous classes they are aggressive.
Wisdom Kings- Lower Ranked Demons.
Myo-O- The Lowest and weakest ranked demons.
The six Black Demons that have been named so far: Byakkomaru, Gekkōin, Raimeiki, Asuramaru, Kiseki-Ō, Mahiru-no-yo.
Abilities of all types of Cursed Gear
Manifestation- This gear has the convenient ability to remain in a smaller, more portable size or manifest into a full sized weapon at will. These weapons may have the power to cast blessings or curses. Shinoa Hiargī, Mitsuba Suno, and Yoichi's weapons belong in this category.
Possession- If a demons malice is too strong, it is ferocious and refuses to submit so easily. These demons are mean and aggressive. This is the type hell-bent on possessing its user, and it is common for them to engage in close combat to display their might. Weapons like Yu, Guren, and Kimizuki's cannot shrink like other weapons because they are in this category.
