A few things about skyrim. Rumor has it that Vanya Aledtyr is in fact a dragonborn this means that she has ability to absorb dragon souls and pretty much permanently kill a dragon. Dragons in Skyrim where once extinct but something or someone is bringing them back to life. This also means that middle earth is in grave danger aside from facing mordor and sarumon they must also find out where the next dragon ressurections will happen as Rohan I'd host to a good number of dragon buriel sights that to most would just look like barrow a rather large barrow filled in with dirt. This of course all connected to sauron and his army.
Keep in mind this is during the war of the ring but after the fellowship has broken and boromirs death so be aware that the fellowship will run into the exiles as well the rohirrim.

Dark Elves: Obviously named s for their darker skin color: dark elves are considered distant kin to the elves of middle earth often reffered to as Dunmer
Snow elves: also called Falmer they number very few and their king and his family believe
Animals of the unnatural variety:
Death hounds undead dogs quite literally and disgusting creatures typical found around wargs in middle earth
Skeletal horses usually conjured by necromancers yes necromancy is big problem in skyrim.
