The prophecy rang through the walls of Mount Olympus. The gods stood silently in the throne room awaiting the choice of their king. He rubbed his bearded face, letting a tired sigh escape him from his lips. “Go find the children and take them to Megeara.” He ordered Hermes, with a wave of his hand. He had hoped this day would never have come. He could still remember the day they were forced to intervene in the children’s lives. A sentar had heard rumours of a plan to kill the demigods that resided in America. Upon hearing this Zues has sent out his most loyal warriors to save the families that were now in danger. The warriors had returned with mere baby’s resting in their arms. “We were too late. The parents were killed, they had fought to save the young ones but the beasts were too strong. What shall we do with the children?” The warrior asked, eyeing the squirming baby in his arms. Zeus approached the guards and gazed upon the children. He swept his hand over them. Tiny white stones appeared , hovering over each of the babies. “Take them back to the human world. Find twelve human couples, worthy of raising the children of the gods and hand a child to each. Stay with the children for the first few weeks and make sure they are safe. The stones will hide their blood from the world and all who seek to harm them.” As Zeus spoke, the stones stared to change color, each color representing the god’s or goddess’ that blood that ran through the child.

Hermes stood in front of a simple wooden door. It was one of the most average look homes he had ever seen. The front lawn was a lush green with flowers dotting from the flowerbeds. He could smell the natural fragrances that the flowers were emitting. He could see why the insects loved the flowers so dearly; Chloris had given the earth a great gift when she had created flowers. A dog's barking brought him back from his distant thoughts. The wind suddenly picked up, pushing his blond hair into his face. The wind started to blow stronger and stronger creating a whirlwind around the Greek god. His clothes began to change from his golden armor to something most humans, if not all, would be found in; jeans and a button-down shirt. He smirked as he studied his new clothes. He always liked the modern clothes that came with the 21st century. Lifting his hand, he knocked on the door and waited. A young face appeared as the door was pulled open. He hadn’t expected to see the child first, or rather, he never really considered how this would work. His lips parted as he began to speak, but another voice broke the silence. “Who is it, honey?” A woman asked as she peered around the corner. Her face paled the moment she saw the messenger. “No….” She breathed, her eyes shimmering with awaiting tears. “I’m afraid that it is time for the truth to be told. Thank you for keeping the child safe.” Hermes spoke before the woman could say another word. Hermes closed his hand into a fist and held it towards the child. When he opened his hand, a colored stone laid in his hand. The child reached out and touched the stone on instinct. A flash of light engulfed the child, blinding the woman momentarily. When she reopened her eyes, she saw only the open door. The child she had raised as her own, gone.

A bored sigh sounded somewhere is the dark British Museum. A beautiful dark hair woman sat on one of the display cases, examining her nails. She lifted her hand and peered at it in the dimly lit exhibit. “These lights are useless.” She hissed. A display case caught fire with a flick of her wrist. She smiled wickedly as the flames roared. The light of the fire, revealed the true chaos in the room. Megaera had destroyed every artifact in the room, whilst in her jealous rage. She hated the fact that every god was mentioned, but her. An ear-splitting screech sounded as the fire alarm went off, sending the night guard running towards the exhibit. “Humans and their technology. It just takes the fun out of everything.” She had disabled the alarm, but she had completely forgotten about the fire alarm. She waved her hand across the room and watched as everything righted itself. And it was just in time, as the guard entered the room a mere second later. He stared at the exhibit, utterly perplexed as to why the alarm had gone off. He walked away scratching his head and mumbling something about ghosts. Megaera laughed as watched the poor guard walk away. “Not ghosts mortal, a goddess.” She said twirling a finger around the rim of the newly fix vase. She started to tip the vase ever so slightly, when a flash of light appeared next to her. “Oh joy, the little runts are here.” She almost hissed as she turned towards the Demigod that now stood before her.

Each child was placed within a well-off family that knew of the gods and all the creatures that walked among them. A stone, the color of their godly parent, was given to them. It suppressed the abilities that they had inherited from their godly parent. The stone was embedded in a personal trinket, which the child was always to wear. The stones would only shield them for as long as they stayed blind to the truth of their heritage. After that the stone would only serve as a token that claimed them as a demigods.

It makes heels a choice and not a necessity, seeing as those things can hurt more than they help sometimes. And besides... A girl should never be taller than a guy. Moving on we have my mahogany brown hair that frames my heart shaped face. No, my natural hair color is not mahogany, it's a a plain dark brown. I might just change it to back one day. Go all witch on everyone. That might be fun. Anyways, where were we? Oh right the skin. Next we have the eyes. I have metallic grey eyes. They tend to darken and light with my mood. I am the only person in my family with this particular shade of blue-green eyes. It is strange how they can sometimes match the color of the ocean. Now we get to the fun parts. I have been through a lot in my life, and those things have made me a stronger person, and a nicer person. I try and make life better for others because I know what it is like to live with heartache. I don’t tend to make a lot of friends, but those I do eventually call friends become family and family is forever. If you ask me, you can never have enough family. There is a dark side to my personality as well. I tend to over think things and shy away from people at times. I don’t do it intentionally. It is just that it feels like people are draining me of all my energy at times. Those are usually the times that I withdraw from everyone and just spend a few hours with a book. The words usually have a way of calming me and bringing me back from the emotional exhaustion. The books have also become my escape from this world. There is something about being able to disappear into a world that is only a fantasy. Most think I am a kind hearted girl who loves to help out whenever they can, but at times I can be like a bull in a china shop. I will often say the wrong things or do the wrong things all because I want to help. It’s like they say, you can't be perfect all the time."

She can command it to take any form or do what she want's it to do. The down side is that it requires a lot of concentration and is physically draining. The more she practises the better she will become and the weaker the effect on her will become. Her over gifts are Communicating with sea creatures and dreamscaping. The first one is pretty self explanatory, it's the second one that is a little weird. Anna can intrude on people's dreams. She can communicate with them by visiting them in the dream realm. Her main weapons are her twin daggers and a triton she can create from water.

ＮＡＭＥ: Soren Alexander Pyrros; Soren is a name of Danish and Old Norse origin and is a variant of the name Thor, who was the god of war and thunder. Alexander is a name that means "defender of men." Pyrros is his family name; a Greek name the translates to "flame-like." The gods chose carefully and well when choosing his adoptive family.
ＡＧＥ: Soren is twenty years old as of July of this year. For a son of Zeus, it is always a wonder to some that he has managed to live this long.
ＧＥＮＤＥＲ: In case you couldn't tell by his masculine names and looks, Soren is male.
ＳＥＸＵＡＬ ＯＲＩＥＮＴＡＴＩＯＮ: Soren is straight. Not that he doesn't find males attractive; he just only likes girls in that way.

ＦＩＳＣＡＬ ＤＥＳＣＲＩＰＴＩＯＮ: Soren is tall. He stands at over 6', and towers over everyone he meets. His growth spurt began early, and only a few years ago finally stopped. Soren's hair is typically on the slightly longer side for a male, but not long enough to get into his eyes, and it is darker blond in color. His eyes are an intense shade of stormy grey. His skin tans easily when exposed to sunlight. In high school, Soren was the typical muscular, attractive football star. His longs legs combined with his equally matched upper body strength served him well in his position of quarterback, and he is very well rounded when it comes to physical strength.
ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ Despite his athletic nature, Soren never really enjoyed sports, and after high school stopped going to the gym and slipped out of the great shape he used to be in. While he remained at an ideal weight, he lost the muscle. Soren is intelligent, but he has a hard time focusing on the same thing for a long period of time, and unless he finds an activity extremely mentally and physically challenging he is likely to grow bored rather quickly. When it comes to social skills, Soren has a hard time keeping a close knit group around him he knows he can trust. He can be the center of attention; but he is just as likely to be the isolated one sitting all alone. The reason for this? Soren has a hard time trusting his own judgement, and knows that he can let his temper run away from him if he is not careful.

ＩＮ－ＤＥＰＴＨ ＡＢＯＵＴ ＰＯＷＥＲＳ ＡＮＤ ＷＥＡＰＯＮＳ:Soren's powers are rather unpredictable, and even with years of training it is likely he will ever have much control over what he can do. Like his father Zeus, Soren is capable of shooting bolts of lightning from his hands, though they are obviously not nearly as powerful as the Lord of the Sky. The bolts are most likely to reveal themselves when he is feeling strong emotion such as fear, anger, or pain. In addition to the lightning, he is developing abilities to control weather itself. So far, he has been able to summon small storms, but once he accidentally created a weak tornado out of anger. Soren rarely calls upon this particular ability for the simple reason that it is so unpredictable. Soren's final ability and the one he is most in control of is his strength. He is able to do the sort of things you only see the superheros in movies do; while he has not tested his limits quite yet, Soren has so far been able to lift a small car.
His weapon of choice is his whip. The handle itself is made of pure celestial bronze; while the whip itself resembles a bolt of lightning when extended to its full length. When fighting in close combat, Soren also carries a pair of backup daggers.
