The beginning:
The story begins in 2018, the year that all civilization collapsed due to a disease. When people caught the disease known as 'The Lost Mind', the person would fall ill to the point where they had a fever, then the person would become numb and wouldn't be able to move. The final stage of the disease is that the poison in the disease would reach the heart within the 2nd day of infection, thus killing the person entirely. After at least 3 hours after death, the person would wake, with a killer instinct then controlling them until they were killed again.
2 years later, scientists have been working on a solution to cure this disease but failed. One of the ideas was to use children from age 12 to 19 and inject them with a liquid that they believed would be the cure. They couldn't have been more wrong. After 30 minutes, the children gained unnatural abilities. They had all gotten some sort of side effect to the liquid. Some people even have these abilities to this moment.
In 2029, everyone is still fighting for a chance to kill the disease. Some have given up hope and some work in groups. Worldwide, everyone still runs to a safe haven or even a Refuge Camp nearby. A group called 'The Light within the Fire' have setup a plan to stop this apocalypse and return life to how it was.
Will you fight for survival? Or die trying?
