1. This is a literate RP. I except a good few sentences. Put some meat on your post's bones, know what I mean?
2. I expect you to fill out a form regardless of what fandom you're from. Just because you're Karkat from Homestuck doesn't mean everyone knows who he is, and the same goes for if you're Justin Beiber. Don't put "meet me" either, describe yourself!
3. Only I will accept characters into the RP, but I will have other mini-mods to help me. Please respect myself, them, and all players on this board.
4. As of starting this, I am currently injured, with a cast on my good hand, so give me time to respond. I'm still pretty fast and on pretty often, but I need breaks and have a life. As I'm sure you all do too.
5. To perform alchemy and magic, you need a mana. I don't care if you're Sailor Moon or someone with natural magical powers. You need a mana. Think of it this way: If you're Harry Potter, you're no longer using a wand to cast magic, you're using a mana. I'll get into manas later on in the description.
6. If you want to play something like an MLP, humanize/anthro them. This isn't a creature rp.
7. OC's are allowed, as are OC/Canon character pairings. If someone's human Big Mac wants to date your OC and you want to date that human Big Mac, go right ahead. I don't care. Just keep X rated stuff off the board and keep to Tess' rules, obviously. Romance is highly encouraged, though.
8. Block out your swears.
9. Put OOC talk in brackets.
10. If I don't know your canon, please do stick to your characterizations. I know quite a few fandoms but I'm no expert on a lot of things, so do keep track of that yourself.
11. Have some fun interacting with other fandoms and OCs! Don't dis people for their characters. If you don't like a character or canon, just try to not interact with it. I expect you all to be accepting.
12. Try not to make those giant pretty ones. Be as descriptive as you want but stick to the form sections I give you at least.
13. New rule: Always read every post, and do not go a full page without myself posting. I reserve the right to strike you from this rp upon enough infractions.
14: To prove you've read these rules: In the "Other:" section of your form, put Atelier, followed by your characters first name.
Ex: Atelier Rylarra.
Now that the main rules are over with, let's talk more about this rp, shall we?))
Enrolling then? Well, let me tell you about Khyr-Varen. The top (and only) school of alchemy in all of Itheria, Khyr-Varen is a training place of combat, alchemy, defence, magic, and friendship. In the school, you meet others, sign up for a workshop, attend classes, go exploring, and start on your journey to becoming one of many things. You could be a great adventurer, an amazing alchemist, a world-class healer, a wise mage, a tempered bodyguard, or anything you desire! Khyr-Varen will give you the basic skills you need. Our wonderful staff are always here to help.

((If you have an idea for another staff member, run it by me. Be the janitor if you want, even. I will be all the staff temporarily until people fill these spots.))
You get to decide what classes you take, what you learn, where you go, and how to go about your day. Currently, there are six workshops, and each is available for a team of five students. These places are where you practice alchemy, and study with your workshop mates. You also will live in the school dorms, which are separated into boys and girls dorms, and have two people per room. More workshops may be added depending on student demand, so don't fret if they're full!
I hope you make friends with your classmates, pick good partners for your workshops, attend your classes, and keep to the school rules. Which, by the way, are as follows:
1. Respect your teachers
2. Violence against teachers and students is prohibited
3. Attend at least 3 classes per week. Three strikes to this rule leads to expulsion.
4. Do not leave the school grounds unless on assignment or on accepted gathering/training, and only to the assigned areas. One strike to this rule leads to expulsion.
5. Other school rules may be added upon necessity. Hopefully this will not be required.

Mana: (A mana is a being of pure magic that accompanies you, allowing use of alchemy and magic. They are elementals, and generally come in many forms. Design yours how you wish; they can also fight for you if you are not a combat character. They can only be one element, and you will be stronger with that element for the duration of the RP. Any element is fine, even side elements like smoke or frost or lightning, but I will have to accept it first. Refer to the headmasters mana once I post her. Also, they can have a name, but I require knowing their element regardless. No secrets from the headmaster. Also, please read this post.)

If you wish to be a mini mod and help me run this rp, please message me personally so we can discuss it. I'm thinking two or three at least. You will be required to play a teacher alongside any characters you play, but that teacher can be a character from something or an OC. So you could be Yugi Mutou teaching combat or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson teaching healing, go nuts. Speaking of teachers, their form is the same, but replace Workshop, with Class Taught, and you do not need the roommate section.
