what is this place that we have to call home?

For some, it's as normal a day as can be. Lives go on. For others, however?
Not so much.
Somebody, no soul knows who, has decided it a good idea to kidnap teenagers just going home from whatever recreational aspect of the day they were involved in, or even perhaps the dreaded school. That's not the worst part of it, either. Some may not object, but to the teenagers themselves it's quite a horrible thing.
Upon arrival, they are fused with some seemingly random character from a book, movie, television show, or video game. At the very least, they take on the powers of the said character. Upon occasion, they take the appearance of their character as well. Their actual personality is left untouched, as apparently even the worst of us have their limits.

The teenagers are allowed to roam like guinea pigs in a cage, which is, needless to say, not very comfortable or entertaining. They are, however, allowed to socialize--bad move. They are designated to live in a room with a few 5th to 6th grade books, nubbed pencils and ripped paper next to a sharpener, slim rows of bunk beds lining the wall, and an impossibly high ceiling with a small fan. If one attempts to escape, the door is rigged so that when it opens from the inside, the person who did it will receive a nasty shock. Some have found a way out of that, however. Of course, nobody else knows that, as the staff have conveniently neglected to install proper cameras and the ones they have installed are either broken down by random electrical interference or in a place where they absolutely cannot see anything.

"Strange?" Sam scoffed, putting on the creepiest grin she could muster. "Nobody's strange. There's just, say, a teleporter, Peter Pan in girl form, a kid who doesn't know what he got, a silver haired boy with electric powers, Jack Frost--apologies, just introduced himself to you, guy's name is Shaan, a cat, me, and five others I can't place. Perfectly normal around here. What's weird about you?" she asked, wiping the stupid grin off of her face and settling for a more polite one.

-You cannot make your OC completely mimic that of the character they are fused with, in terms of personality. There is only one exception to this, in terms of the character having an above average intelligence or another quality that is not external. This is only because canon roleplaying is harder than normal.

-PLEASE include a quick description of your character's powers in your form. Not everybody knows who the base character is. I cannot stress this enough and this is almost like a codeword--I'll know if you don't follow it.

-Do not discriminate against an OC because of their base character. Just because someone picked a base that is in love with your base does not mean they have to be in love. ANY base is allowed. Yes, even ones from Twilight.

-You may PM me a power you want your character to have and I will give you a base. Also, if you're uncertain you can PM me anyways.

-Please post at least a coherent sentence every time. No "she blinked"s but I'm pretty sure I can make a reply off of anything else.

-If somebody else has already taken your base, I will inform you and ask you to choose another one. c:

-Genders do not have to be balanced. Drama is quite fun. Romance is, of course, allowed but not in amounts that throw the roleplay off its axis.

-Go as many pages as you'd like without me. I'll just look them all over and reply. c;
