7. Yes you may use a picture for your characters... but if they are too big and will stretch the board, please simply link them. And no anime pics please, unless of course you absolutely cannot avoid it...

9. Being I am going blind, if you could please make your posts in a bigger font (I’m not asking for anything huge…) I’d really appreciate it. Doing this will help me keep track of the rp better and allow me to make a better response to you.

11. Should you happen to want to add to your characters, please do not post another bio post. Simply add the new character(s) to your pre-existing character post.

12. One of your characters may not be crushing on or dating another one of your characters. That takes all the fun out of it.

14. No character is perfect... nor are they really good at everything they do. This means no Mary/Gary-sues...

15. The animals may talk to each other and to the "monsters" who have animal related abilities.

~Plot and setting~

Several students from different high schools have all been bused off to a large summer camp where they can relax and enjoy themselves after a long and stressful school year. All the students are seniors who just graduated at the top of their class. While at the camp, the students will relax, unwind and even fall in love, if they choose to do so... But there is a twist, some of the students are not human... Will they find true love? The love of their life that will be with them no matter what they are? Or will they end up broken hearted and have to face the world alone? Only time will tell.


The camp grounds are positioned right next to a large clear water lake and at the base of a beautiful mountain range. There is also a forest that surrounds the camp site and goes up onto the mountains. the forest is abundant with wild animals and different types of birds, even ones no one has ever seen before.

But, despite all the beauty of the land and forest, there is a legend... The forest is haunted by more than just one of two spirits... Is it true? Or just a hoax concocted by students or teachers just to frighten the campers? Only time the brave ones will tell. **Please note, they do not find out about the legend until they are all sitting around the camp fire, eating smores and marshmallows. You're also welcome to suggest additions to the plot.**

~Settings~

The campsite-
The camp is in a heavily forested area. The main type of tree around the camp is Oak. Although you can find the occasional Willow tree scattered throughout the premises.
There are eleven housing cabins located on the campsite. Ten are for the students, the last one is a conjoined cabin specifically for the counselors.

The cabins-
Each cabin is a bit bigger than the standard master bedroom in a house. On either side of the room there is a single bed with a dresser and a desk placed near it. The dresser is a large one, having drawers on one side and two opening doors on the other to store clothes that need to be hung up. Below the "closet" department there are two drawers that open to store shoes.
At the rear of the cabin there is a large mirror hanging on the wall.

The utilities-
There are two large building that resemble the cabins on the outside. Inside there are toilet stalls lining one side, while the other side is lined with shower stalls.

The Stables-
Located less than a mile off the cabin site, there is a small stable housing one horse for each person at the camp. The stable itself is rather large, each stall has enough room for the horse to walk around a bit. The barn opens to a large fenced in pasture that the horses are occasionally let out into.

The forest-
The forest is large with many trails, streams, ponds, brooks, etc. The forest stretches all the way from the cabin site to the base of the surrounding mountain range. Some parts of the forest are darker and "spookier" than others... there is also a legend behind this forest... but that will be discussed at a later time.

The Lake-
Lake Campardum is located just to the East of the cabin site. Granted the students have to do a bit of hiking to get to it, but that's OK. The lake itself is a large one, perhaps one of the largest seen near a camp ground. The water is fairly deep, but doesn't seem to have the murky coloration like some lakes do. The water here is a lovely crystal color that seems to gain an orange, copper, purple or pink shade during the sunrises and sunsets of each day. The lake is also abundant in fish of several different kinds.

The streams and brooks-
These two things are scattered throughout the forest. Some of the streams even run though camp. Each one of them runs from the mountains around the camp and forest into the lake.

The ponds-
Much like with the streams and brooks, there are several of these located within the forest. However, there is one in particular I'd like to focus on. This one is a rather large pond. Surrounded by large boulders, some rather flat and could be used for sun bathing. This pond is located in the far Northwest corner of the forest, towards where the mountain begins. A large waterfall gushes down from one of the mounting peaks above the pool and cascades over several large rock formations and smaller peaks, making the one waterfall into several falls. It is said that a human cannot find this pond... For some reason, any mythical creature is drawn here... that is if the veil around this pool accepts them.

They day had been a long one. It seemed to drift by slowly as all the students boarded the bus at noon and were finally almost to the camp at about six o'clock. The bus was a large charter bus... but it reeked with several not so pleasant scents.
Among the students on the bus were two young boys and two young girls. One of the girls sat towards the back of the bus, a headphone placed into each ear as she gazed out the window at the passing scenery.

"Do we sit still, under attack? Or do we start pushing back? Never back up, never back down. And fight! Rise, rebel, resist! Rise, rebel, resist! Rise, rebel, make a fist, resist!" She muttered to herself while she absently fiddled around with her necklace while the song played on her black I-Pod Classic that she had shoved in her pocket. While she gaze out the window and absentmindedly sang to herself, her left hand slowly stroked the small white canine on her lap.

Her light, cat-like, green eyes studied the passing scene outside. A smile widening on her face as she noticed a large "WELCOME TO CAMP YORELSTON" sign slowly approaching on the side of the road. "'Bout time." She said with a roll of her eyes.

Soon enough the bus pulled into the campsite. With a smile, Star pulled the purple leash slightly after setting the puppy on the floor of the bus. The two of them exited the bus like everyone else. Once she was out of everyone's way she pulled a white paper from her pocket. "Once you have arrived at the camp, take you things to your cabin and meet in the mess hall." She said as she read the paper out loud. "Alright, so my cabin is number one..." She muttered with a shrug. "Come on girl." She said again as she went to grab her things from the cargo section of the bus and head to her cabin.

After just dropping her stuff off on the bed that sat on the right side of the room, she headed back to the mess hall. "Well, at least the map on the paper was easy to follow." She muttered as she looked down at Zaria who was trying desperately to get into her owner's lap. With a smile star reached down and picked the puppy up. "Silly girl." She laughed before looking at the two people, who she assumed were the counselors, standing in the middle of the room.

The young boy on the other hand, had taken one of the seats up front. With a smile on his face he looked from the window to the large dog sitting next to him. "Good boy Beast." He smiled as he patted the dog on the head before looking down at the small black Sony Insignia mp3 player in his hand. With each turn or jerk of his head, the necklace around his neck jingled ever so slightly. With a large grin on his face he began singing quietly to himself. "Stay a while now, undress your colors. Cause they're like no others I've ever seen. I could get used to your company, step inside. Ask yourself 'Where would you be without days like this?' When you finally collide with the motions you can't resist." He smiled to herself again as he went back to looking out the window; still singing.
he smiled as he noticed the large sign that was welcoming all of them to the camp. "Sit up boy." He said to his dog. After the buss parked, he lead the dog off the bus. Without making much noise, he did the same as Star. Eventually he found himself in the mess hall, waiting for the counselors to begin talking.

The other boy was a young blond boy with spiky hair, piercing blue eyes and a lovely tan. He sat directly behind Andy, strumming along with the songs the other boy sang. His guitar was an acoustic one. Being a dark cherry color with a lighter color on the sides, neck and bridge. Much like Star and Andy, he followed suit until he reached the mess hall.

And the last girl... a young blonde beauty... or at least she herself was phyically beautiful... with the front she often put on, her personality wasn't so much beautiful. he sighed to herself, cursing and complaining about the bus the whole way to the camp. Once it stopped she pushed past akl the other students, her dog Diamond in her purse instead of walking next to her. Quickly she grabbed her things and headed to her cabin. "This is ridiculous!" She spat as she slammed the cabin door behind her and marched to the mess hall. "Diamond, these people are so incompitent." she muttered to the dog in her purse before sitting down. With a delicate hand she flipped her hair off of her shoulder before regaining a "regal" composure.

Karla sat on the bus with her eyes glued to a book, 'Mr.Sharp' she read over again, making sure she had read that correctly...did that mean that he had found out that Dylan Sharp was really Deryn Sharp? She sighed as she was forced to close the book, wondering if Deryn was done for...She grabbed Snow's leash and pulled down her shirt a little as it had managed to slide up as she leaned over her book during the ride. Karla walked absentmindedly to her cabin and set down her things, she noticed she had to share the cabin with another person...As long as they don't get nosy...She sighed once more, picking up Snow, who now refused to stop sniffing the bed, and carrying her to the mess-hall place. She say down besides a girl with cool hair, "Like the hair." She said to the girl as Snow started sniffing the girls dog.
