It's September 1, 1997 and no one is excited for Hogwarts. With Voldemort's puppet as headmaster, things are looking grim. Everything has changed: the punishments are harsher, the material is more intense, and the rules are crooked. A few very slim few at school remain loyal to Dumbledore. The rest are either scared or poisoned from the start.
In this RP, we will write the forming and execution of the Underground Rebellion. And then, the Battle of Hogwarts!
You should know these by now. No excessive romance, gore, or violence. No cursing. If necessary, use an asterisk '*'. All content must remain child-friendly as this is a family site. I'm not worried about adjectives, I'm worried about actions. If you really want to get into it (in any of the three categories), feel free to take it to pm.
If there is no drama, then we're dealing with one boring RP. So keep the drama coming, but be careful. I'm not concerned by the amount, but the content. If you want Emma to catch her boyfriend cheating and then get a detention for hexing them and then finding a secret passage, okay. Whatever. But if you're plan is to find your long-lost twin and find out that you two are seers and get captured werewolves, then no. Just no. Between getting caught by the Carrows after hours and finding out you're a vampire, go with the former. The latter is incredibly Sue-like. We don't 'preciate Sues 'round here. Ya dig?
Before the RP officially starts, okay. Go ahead. Have playful banter, ask questions, get to know each other. Each post is a bump to attract the members we're lacking anyway. But once we start roleplaying, if you don't have a character to post for, don't post at all. No exceptions. If it can't wait until you get your reply, send a message. This does not include advertising your RP. If you are in one that needs members, feel free to post a link, so long as it's with your reply or you are violating the rule stated previously.
I'm not saying you have to write huge paragraphs. I'm saying you need to utilize proper grammar, have a colorful vocabulary, and give us enough to work with. If you make a mistake, go back and fix it. If you used that word in the last post, find a synonym. If there's not an obvious way to include you or incorporate ourselves, add something. I'm not going to give you a minimum amount, but don't abuse it. Few things are more irritating than someone who replies to your three paragraphs with two words.
Don't argue in this RP. It may put off others from joining and we don't want that. If something needs to be resolved, do it in pm. If it doesn't get resolved, ignore it. If those involved cannot RP properly, all will be removed. No exceptions.
Everyone may have a max of six characters: two original, four from the movie. If you're interested in this RP, the chances are that you know a bit about Harry Potter. So you also know at least some of the students. Just remember that this is during the last book, so none of the Golden Trio. This rule is entirely susceptible to change. So feel free to ask about making more.
This is a very broad and very important rule. For your information, I'm more worried about content than appearances. The form will reflect your abilities as a writer, keep that in mind. If I deny your form, you'll get two chances to fix it. If I don't tell you what it is that bothers me specifically, then you have blatantly broken one of the following rules and the problem should be obvious. In such cases, you'll only get one chance. Once you have been denied three (or two) times, do not post. Do not try again. You will be ignored if you do and reported if you persist.Luckily, there are only two things that really set me off in forms, one more than the other: when characters contradict themselves and when character's are 'hardcore'. If I see in her personality that she is super friendly, I don't want to see later that she doesn't like people. That one is pretty simple and easy to catch if you read over your form when it's done.
If you are a Hogwarts student, you are not hardcore. You're somewhere between 11 and 17, so you're not anything to be feared physically. Mental or emotional strength is fine. By all means, be an intellectual. But if you're a fourth year girl who sucks at jinks, no one cares. I don't want to see "You don't want to get on her bad side!" or "If she's angry, you better run!" Really? That's a laugh. You're character is a loser and I do want to get on her bad side. And you're a f******g idiot for putting it. If you are teacher, by all means, be hardcore. Unless, of course, it violated the other rule of contradicting yourself.
There is only one exception to the hardcore rule in students. I'm not going to name it, because if I do, we'll have all the same characters doing the same thing. But if you know enough about psychology to know it, it will not be a problem in your form.╫Anyone who violates the following rules will be punished by immediate banishment: Tess's Rules, No Arguing.

Louie was born on June 14th to two wealthy purebloods. Already having two 'successful' children before her, they assumed she would be a piece of cake. They were wrong. Her elder brothers were loud, opinionated, stubborn, and haughty. The problem? She was too. And even worse, she was set on the wrong ideals. She thought that she should be opinionated, steadfast, and (bless her poor mother!) independent. Her mother is still trying desperate to convert her into the haughty little housewife that purebloods desired in a daughter-in-law, but she's failing for the most part. Her father claims to have given up on her. But for all of his snide comments, he's yet to disown her. 
Like most Slytherins, Louie is selfish and cunning. She wants what she wants and doesn't take 'no' very well. She's also rather excellent at persuasion, as opposed to taking or pouting. Also like a Slytherin, she feels very much like she's better than everyone else, even when she knows she's not. She's extremely hotheaded (and just as easily calms down), but prefers verbal fights or physical fights to using spells. It releases more tension in her, no matter who wins. (Considering her size, it's not normally her.) She has a habit of pushing past her own limits and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, but that's just another thing that makes her such a Slytherin. But here's the catch: she likes Gryffindors. She'd never admit it, but she's attracted to their passion and determination.

Louie is about the height of the average guy. While she does have some nice curves, they're nothing to brag about. She's isn't particularly vivacious and she tends to tower over other girls and a few guys. She's somewhat of a pear. She isn't really flat-chested, but there's room for growth. She has a rather nice behind, though. 
Emerald green | "They don't stare into your soul or anything, but they're alright."
Louie has very vibrant eyes. While her gaze is far from piercing, her eyes are very in-your-face. They are a rich shade of green that isn't too dark nor especially light. 
Blonde | "It's just blonde. Nothing special."
Louie has very long, very pale blonde hair. It's not a bleached shade of platinum, but a light ash blonde. Oddly enough, the color adds even more to her willowy appearance. 
Formal | "I guess my mum did rub off on me!"
Outside of uniform, Louie's attire is rather formal and feminine, not surprising considering her pureblood status. She can be found in a large variety of dresses, skirt, corsets, blouses, and sandals. Though not particularly found of heels, she prefers them to ballet flats. She prefers dark shades of green, blue, and purple, as well black and white. She adores lace and ribbons, but can't stand glitter. Not one bit. And don't even get her started on those blasted feathers!

One thing that's always made her parents proud was her knack for hexes, though it has more to do with her wand than her. It would be her luck to excel in the spells she uses least.
Determination | "Kind of annoys people at times..."
Once she has her mind set on it, Louie won't stop striving for it unless she realizes that it's not in her best interest. This applies to all things: from future careers to future boyfriends. Unfortunately, that means when she meddles, she meddles. 
Healing Spells | "That is very unfortunate."
Despite all of the training she's received at Hogwarts, she never got the hang of healing spells. This is a very big downfall, considering her preferred future occupation. 
╫Louie has very serious psychological issues when it comes to romance. She forms crushes very easily, but backs out when he's ready to make it official. Any time a guy of any age touches her, she feels it's with bad intentions. She won't even hug her own father.
╫Louie is a beater for Slytherin.
Caius (Kye•Us) Silvester Avery Silver, Professor Thirty-four December 8th, 1962 
Hogwarts Orchestra Caius grew up in a pureblood family and adopted their beliefs in blood purity. He was sorted into Slytherin and spent his time there fighting with Gryffindors and bullying 'mudbloods'. When he graduated he went on to become a death eater and found that it's not so glamorous. Upon Voldemort's defeat in 1981, he thought it was his chance to make a better life. He got the necessary education, but his plans were halted by the Dark Lord's return. Fueled by fear, he returned to his old life and was ultimately forgiven for his treachery. He at the Battle of the Department of Mysteries and was imprisoned and sent to Azkaban. He broke out in the summer of 1997 and was granted a teaching position by his fellow death eater, Severus Snape. Caius is a very solitary and mysterious person. He doesn't talk much outside of his classroom and isn't particularly expresses. In fact, he appears to have a very infinite amount of patience. Despite that, he is very intimidating. As a death eater, he is hardened to most things in life and is a bit confused about how to properly punish students, often going overboard accidentally. He is very cold and distant, even to other death eaters, but has a soft spot for women that he's good at hiding. Raucousness | "Brings hexes to mind. Illegal ones."

Caius is much taller than the average male, which only adds to the intimidation factor. He takes very good care of his body for the purpose of health and functionality, rather than to receive attention from females. (Which is good considering the females he's surrounded by are all kinds of illegal.) He works out often, should he ever caught without a wand, and is rather proud of the product. Light gray | "..."
His eyes are a very vibrant shade of gray, so bright that they're almost silver. He is one of the rare few who possess a gaze that is both piercing and smoldering at the same time. It's rather unnerving to be looked at by him if one does not have a strong personality (think Voldemort or Tonks). Ebony | "..."
Caius has very dark, rich locks. It reaches the back of his neck and he normally slicks it back. If it's unstyled and messy, he was either rushed or distressed. Formal | "..."
A typical pureblood, Caius is always seen wear a suit of some kind. He's always wearing black slacks, black dress shoes, and a button down shirt. The color of the shirt varies and sometimes he wears a blazer and/or and tie. Phoenix Feather core, Mahogany, 14 inches, Rigid (susceptible to breaking) Nora, the suspiciously well-mannered kitten Dark Arts | "As predicted, I'm sure."
Quite predictably, Caius has both a fixation and a talent for the Dark Arts. He began dabbling when he was just a child, so he has a lot of experience under his belt. While he is no where near the dark wizard as the Dark Lord, he is capable of an impressive (and horrifying) amount of sinister magic.
Offensive Spells | "..."
Also to be expected, he is highly skilled in offensive spells, as death eaters are almost always on the offense. He has a vast knowledge of such spells (and many tie into the Dark Arts), but not by much more than the average adult wizard.
Patience | "..."
While plenty of death eaters are hotheaded, Caius has always been a collected man. This seemingly endless reserve of patience makes him an ideal teacher, especially in a class that not everyone is talented in. Defensive Spells | "Keep it to yourself."
While he is good on the offense, Caius's number of defensive spells are rather limited. He knows about as much as the average Seventh Year, but thankfully doesn't need to use them very often.
Reputation | "It does not matter."
Being a known death eater has few perks when surrounded by those loyal to Albus Dumbledore. In addition to being the enemy and being intimidating in appearance, Caius has known no real friends, as fellow death eaters are only in it for their own benefit. Even if one gets to know him, he's rather quiet and reserved. He's never had a desire to be in a relationship (thanks to watching Lily's treatment of James), but does want to start a family.Last edited by

Rosinther Flipsure NuthatchRoz, or Hutch.Last year of Hogwarts at seventeen.First of JanuarySeventhRosinther Flipsure Nuthatch was born in a small neighborhood directly outside of Manchester to wizarding father, Ediric Phyllis Nuthatch, and muggle mother, Emmaline Mae Turnum. Luckily for him, his mother was already aware of his father's magic before he came into being, and it was no surprise when on his very normal eleventh birthday that a weathered envelope arrived at their door. It was addressed in emerald green ink and described down to the very corner of the yard his party was being held where to find him. Growing up with a wizard father he wasn't surprised either and eagerly awaited Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy to begin. A perfectly normal beginning, traveling to Olivander's to recieve his Laurel wood wand, getting his first books from Flourish and Botts, and crashing through the solid brick wall to platform 9 3/4. His life only started to veer from the path of normalcy with the killing of Cedric Diggory and the arrival of the loathsome Dolores Umbridge. Then he automatically followed his House and their natural tendency towards rebellion, becoming part of Dumbledore's Army while it was in power, and remaining loyal to the Lion of Godric Gryffindor. And that's caught up to speed.| Confident

Self-doubt is something Rosinther has never had time for, and he believes that if you can't trust your own decisions, you'll never be able to trust anyone else's whole-heartedly. He pulls his dedication to idealism from examples throughout A History of Magic, as such, he supports the subtle rebellions made from the students, and openly participates. In his views, guilt is the worst feeling one can harbor. Roz has never once given away a slip of information during his detentions for he knew how much the guilt would eat at him. The majority of his personality has been most affected by the feeling of family at the school as they always push each other harder to be the best for each other, even if it's not verbally. Oddly enough through this bravado, Roz has never been one to boast, which is why he very narrowly avoided being sorted into Hufflepuff.| Inadequate table manners

The most common habit Rosinther has to worry about is becoming predictable. After prolonged exposure to a schedule or checklist of daily things, he falls into a rhythm so incredibly solid that others can tell what time it is merely by what class Roz pulls out his remembrall. This has caused him a problem with the new administration, everyone knows where to find him. He's currently trying to break this for the good of his own health.Open either way.Rosinther is most susceptable to emotion during times of extreme adrenaline or danger. Sneaking into the Dark Forest, or slipping into the Prefect's bathroom are always attractive pursuits.No one likes a whiner, and that holds true for the Gryffindor. His dedication to friends and a normally protective nature lets him tolerate those who can't care for themselves, but he truly has less respect for them. Unfortunately poor quality.Through constant practice and maintenance, Roz had kept up an unmuscled but fit physique. Most students, maybe besides the Slytherins, have gotten quite used to running and this Seventh year is no exception. He stands at a flat six foot, and weighs in at one-eighty.Chocolate brown, though his left eye is flecked around the pupil with gold.A similarly dark brown as his eyes, close to black, and always smoothly taken care of.Underneath his chokingly black school robes, Roz owns a variety of light V-neck jumpers. Normally the V-necks are white, rarely straying darker than his House's Maroon and Gold. Oddly, he has a strong distaste for denim and wears well-fitted khakis. Shoes are optional.----A very proud Gryffindor Made of Laurel, Thirteen inches long, Rigid flexibility, and a core of Dragon HeartstringA funny tabby Maine Coon named Geather.| Quick thinking

Roz, though no where near the wits of a RavenClaw, is smart enough to think on his feet. As such, his favorite class during his first few years were Defense against the Dark Arts, and History of Magic. Both were helpful with getting ideas and learning to duel, but with the absence of Professor Dumbledore has driven him away from such topics and into anything with teachers he finds trustworthy. His favorites were his greatest strengths, how well his O.W.Ls came out from such focus had varied results. Like all Gryffindors, he carries courage and an ability to immediately respond and act. | Charms

He has a boyish quality of thinking studying is worthless, especially of late, and only really cares about connections, spying, and dueling skills. What he finds useful during the turbulent era of Voldemort's return. He tends to forget that people's feelings are more delicate than his cats, and speaks in brunt terms, losing him quite a few loyalties. He lacks Hufflepuff's acceptance, Ravenclaw's adeptness at puzzles, and Slytherin's instinct for self-preservation, all are required to become a great wizard, but when you have the one-track mind of a teenager, you're not too interested. Can you handle a Gryffindor beater?
Blaise ZabiniNone, let's keep it that way.Seventeen.August 30th.Seventh "Blaise Zabini is the son of a famously beautiful witch who had been widowed seven times over by 1996. Each husband's death both occurred under suspicious circumstances and left the already wealthy Ms. Zabini and her son richer. It is unknown if Blaise's biological father was one of the seven late husbands. Blaise may well be a pure-blood wizard, as he dislikes "blood traitors" and people who associate with Muggle-borns. He is stuck-up and does not befriend Muggles or Muggle-borns.
In 1991, Blaise started his education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by being sorted into the House of Slytherin. Due to Blaise's reserved nature, he kept to himself most of the time and didn't really make friends with other Slytherins, nor other students in his year—though this may have been because he was prejudiced against Muggle-borns and "blood traitors." To a small extent, Blaise seemed to get along with Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson—he was able to sit with them on the train journey to Hogwarts—but other than that, he wasn't mentioned as hanging around with the group"

Surprisingly, from his behavior, Blaise isn't too fond of his own House either. This is shown by his rudely barbed tongue being equal to everyone, from blood traitors like the Weasleys, to Draco Malfoy. But, he continues to accept their invitations, guaranteeing him a relatively normal time at Hogwarts during these turbulent times, being a pureblood doesn't hurt him much either. He is also very concerned with appearances, and spends a large amount of time on his own. Indifferent and dismissive would be good synonyms.Where should we start?He gets along very well with Professor Slughorn, and has become a valuable and reliable young wizard as long the point interests him. Being so easily bribed, he tends to have a very scattered schedule sneaking about for those with the best contraband, the only constant is that he will check his appearance quite a few times in a few hours.Very hard to impress romantically, but straight.Purebloods, of course.

However, he is a love child, son of his father's mistress, and because of this he was bullied since as long as he could remember. He often got in trouble at muggle school, because he often pondered over the workings of machinery instead of doing his math homework.Sabriel is quiet, only speaking when he himself is spoken to. He ponders over things constantly, and doesn't like saying anything bad about others... unless of course it's true. Despite him being constantly bullied, Sabriel never once doubted himself, because he knows who he is, and doesn't care what other people make him out to be.Sabriel hates people who are biased, as well as prejudice, racism, and homophobia. He also despises when people say bad things about his mother, because deep down, he truly loves her. Even if he does complain about her kleptomaniac ways. Sabriel likes to ignore people, sit on his bed in the dorms, and eat Doritos like there's no tomorrow. He also tends to cut Twizzlers into strings and tie them together to make animal-shaped sticky bundles of fun.BisexualSabriel, while being a little too docile to disobey any rules, often admires the rebels who have the guts to do things he only dreams about doing.Sabriel dislikes people who ask too many questions and mean-spirited buffoons, whose heads seem too small for their bodies. Or is it the other way around? Sabriel is considered tall compared to his parents, which stand at a whopping 5'7'' and are rather obese. He, however, stands at 5'11", and is quite lean.
