Plot

For many years elves and men have lived in peace in the big world of Raden.
Minding their own buisness, the elves live in a great forest, hidden from all other creatures, while the humans live in plains and valleys, not daring to set foot on the elves' realm.
They tell tales about the other race, but never dare to see each other. It is obvious to them that elves and men don't interact, ever.
Except a few.
Recently, a group of humans have become rebels and left the kingdom, venturing into the forest. They are now outcasts, as the cruel king, Ashran, has sent assassins and hunters to kill them. These people must survive in the forest, or die. But as they get deeper and deeper into the woods, they notice that they are coming into the realm of elves, a species so similar and so different to them at the same time.
Meanwhile, the king of elves and Ashran have declared war. Elves against humans, humans against elves. Both kings are evil, consumed by greed. For this reason, a group of the woodland folk have also decided to escape, and are being hunted down too. Will the two groups of rebels unite? Or will they also be in war?

Rules

·All of Tess' rules.
·This is a semi-lit roleplay. Please, no one-liners. I have nothing against them but I just prefer to RP with people that can post at least three or four lines, preferably more. If you have writers block, then wait till you come up with something or write at least two lines.
·Please, please,please, PLEASE! Use past tense. Otherwise it is really hard to understand.
·No chatspeak please
·Try to describe how your character is feeling, and write details, that will make your posts longer.
· Use some way so we can tell whether you are speaking out of character or in character.
·I like pretty posts, but don't put big images and stuff or make it complicated to read (like putting it in a really light font colour)
·People will die. You can kill another character, but please PM the other person first. Same goes for really serious wounds. You can hurt another character though, as long as it is not too serious.
·Don't overdescribe violence or romance.
·You can make a character based on someone from a book or movie, but change them a bit so they fit in with the RP.
·You can make as many characters as you like as long as you can handle them all and keep them active.
·No perfect characters. I like original characters, with their own personalities and weaknesses. The more creative you are with your form, the more chances there are of me accepting you.
·Please put effort into your form. I will not accept a form that has only a few lines in it. Describe your character, it's different personality traits, it's odd quirks. You can also make your form pretty, and add more things to it like a quote or different colours. Just make sure it has the basic information in it, though. I will accept almost all characters, but don't be offended if I don't accept you. It's nothing personal, just good RPing Pirates of the Caribbean quote there =)
·You can make a hybrid between an elf and a human, but the number will be limited, and one of those is reserved for me. They wouldn't be that common, and we don't want tons of "tragic love between human and elf" thingies, so I'll stop accepting hybrids after we reach a certain number.
·If I ask you to leave the RP because you have broken the rules, leave, and never come back!<--Now that was a Lord of the Rings quote! =D (unless you have improved)
·We need to keep genders and species even, aswell as different kinds of people. They can't be all rebels, or all assassins. Please keep it even, and don't make loads of the same tipe. Otherwise it will be boring!

★Status: King, can you not see by my royal clothes and posture and my general elegance? If you can't, to the gallows!
★History: Born to the previous king of the humans, Ashran grew up at the castle. His father trained him every day, making sure he was powerful and strong. Also, his father wanted his son to be equally as cruel as him, and often sent him to slay many innocent people. But the king did not know one thing: That Ashran was greedy, and wanted the kingdom for himself. At the age of eighteen, he poisoned his father's drink, and the next day, he became king. He was young, though, and the kingdom came out of control. Slave- sellers appeared, thieves stole from many people. Everywhere was chaos. But Ashran did not care. Now all power was his, but he still wanted more. So he turned to the dark forest and it's misterious boughs, and gathered an army of all the men that were capable of fighting. Those who escaped, were killed, sent by his cruel assassins.
★Personality:Ashran is a cruel king, being able to kill anyone that he finds as long as it benefits himself. He doesn't care about his kingdom, and often lets slave-sellers and thieves roam free. All he does is for himself, and is often spoilt, killing anyone that gets in his way. Recently he has taken the fancy to owning the forest as well as his already large kingdom, and has made a war between the humans and elves. Ashran does not care about the safety of his people, all he wants is money and land, and his greed has no limit. He has already sent many dangerous assassins (trained by him) to hunt down and kill all the people that have dared to contradict his rule. Ashran is also considered as a very powerful warrior, and a cruel one, who never hesitates to kill anyone and often enjoys people suffering.
★Strenghts:He has no pity whatsoever, so he can kill pretty much anyone without hesitating. He is also an extremely powerful warrior, but intelligent and cunning at the same time.
★Weaknesses:His greed. He will do anything to get what he wants, and this can be a major weakness. Also, women. He falls in love easily but never obtains a woman's love, which makes him sad and even more cruel
★Weapons:A black sword, forged by the ancient dark elves.

★History: Really, Kaytan's life was very ordinary. His childhood was uneventful, and he was an only child. He grew up on a farm, worked on a farm, and inherited the family farm from his parents when they died. He works for the King, providing fresh food for his kitchens and caring for some of his livestock. When the king started making decisions that sparked the war, he disagreed with him and went to join the rebels, no longer wishing to obey the rule of a tyrannical overlord.
★Personality: Kaytan has a relatively pleasant personality, as he was raised in a loving family in the quiet countryside. He enjoys laughing and singing, often humming a tune to suit his mood. Seldom does he fall into a dark mood, and as a general rule is lighthearted and joyful. He is very easy to get along with, and makes friends wherever he goes. He can be competitive when a chance to prove himself arises. When faced with danger, he is much more likely to stand his ground than run, and he is very loyal to his friends. He is not often argumentative, but can hold his own in an argument due to his stubbornness. When he does become a lovely shade of grumpy, he is sullen and critical, and at his worst is cynical, sardonic, and offensive. Lying is not his strongest skill, and he is blunt and truthful when asked a question, even if his answer accidentally offends someone.
★Strengths: He has secretly studied swordfighting for a few years, and is now pretty good. Any attacker would not expect a simple farmer like himself to be so able with a weapon. He is also very strong and muscular, due to his years of doing hard labor and working in the field, and light on his feet from dodging angry male animals while herding. While he might give the impression that he's stupid because he doesn't talk much about anything not related to farming, he's actually got quite a powerful brain chugging away in his skull.
★Weaknesses: He is hopeless with any weapons besides a sword and his own body. Also, he is sometimes so concerned with detail when observing things that he fails to notice the obvious.
★Weapons: A simple sword, nothing special. A farmer such as himself never has much spare change.
★Pets: None, he only rides horses when necessary and doesn't own one himself.
★Other: This character is based off of Westley from The Princess Bride.

History: My mother was human and my father an elf, as you can imagine she fell for his inhuman elf looks. However, her being a human she couldn't stay in the forest with him, nor he could stay in the plains with her. My mother I know nothing about her except that she wanted my name to be Zoe and that she was one of the most caring honest humans my father had ever met and she was very beautiful as well. She carried me in her belly and when I was born she once again returned to the forest, she had me wrapped in a elven shawl and left me their. Before she left she did however give me a necklace and told me this, "No matter where you are, you will be in my heart and in the heart of anyone who sees you, you are and will always be special." She kissed me on the forehead and left with tears in her eyes, and me being a baby I cried, the elves eventually found me however, at first they didn't know why I was left their, until my father came out and found the necklace that I had clutched in my hands. He took me home, and I became an elf. I learned their language, culture and how to be one. My father was protective of me in a different kind of way, I learned to hunt, to kill, to fight at a young age, I am very skilled with a bow and with everything to do with animals. On my eighteenth birthday my father gave me a ring, that he had originally designed for my mother should they ever meet again. My father had gotten many offers for my hand in marriage, but I turned them all down, for firstly I didn't know any of them and I just couldn't. So one day I packed up my two horses and was ready to leave, I was being very careful not to wake my father. But my father knew my better then that, because as I went to grab my pack of food he was their holding the bag, he didn't say a word but only pulled me into a hug and repeated what my mother had said to me all those years ago. He also had a puppy, he had been planning on giving him to me a little bit later, but he knew their wasn't going to a later. With all that done, I mounted Lily and had Gauz on Sapphirro and left to live in the forest as I had always wanted to do.
Personality:Me, well i'm just perfect aren't I. Hahaha no one is perfect, no matter how much they think they are, no one is an angel that holds no grudges, no one is as heartless as they seem. Me, I may not be the best example or role model, but I am true to who I am which is worth looking up to. I do admit to having much of an anger problem, I get angry easily over very stupid things, but its so hard to stop. I like to think I am very smooth, but I know I'm not. I can't talk to most people easily, because I judge them for things they have done and even things they had no control over. The definition of an ass is me, just because I like to think I don't care, but I do. I like to pretend I know more then I do, but I don't. There are many sides to who I am, the main one being my aggression, but I am very much a softy. I don't like to show it, because that would be a weakness, I don't want a weakness, and that right there is my weakness.

Now to talk about the better side of me. I'm weird, completely and utterly and I love it. I like being the only one not afraid to say what I think, or do as I please. I'm sarcastic and pretty dang good at it. I laugh at jokes told yesterday, I smile at anyone to make them smile back at me. The only dream I have is to inspire other people, to make them create something, to believe in themselves. I'm usually a friendly person, thats of course if you don't rub me the wrong way, but I am a bit of a lovely dovey person. Very old school, I like gentle men, but I want someone who will be my best friend. True to my heart I am, I will fight for someone I love, someone who needs me as much as I need them. I'm also really creative, i love to make things with my hands and I love to inspire people to believe in themselves.
Strenghts:Fighting, Offense, Bow and Arrows, and she can understand animals motions and wild animals usually don't attack her, but like her.

Weapons:I have a bow that has been handed down for centuries.
Pets:I have two horses and a puppy, Sapphirro is my older horse, he is a Clydesdale and I mostly used him to carry my stuff, because I couldn't bare the thought of leaving him at home when he could travel the woods with me, I trust him completely and allow him to usually trot next to me without a rope. Lily is my younger horse, who I usually have to keep an eye out for, she is younger and faster so she is the horses I ride, but however doesn't like a lot on her back. My last pet is my puppy Winter's Gaze however I just call him Gauz.

History: Has lived his whole life in the forest, and met a woman in the forest who had easily fallen for him, he himself fell in love as well. They were only briefly together, but he knew that they would share a child together, so he made two bracelets, one for a girl and one for a boy, so if his child ever came back into the forst he would know who he or she was, as well as his child would always have a piece of him. He found his daughter in the forest in the following year with the bracelet. He was happy that the woman he loved decided to return his beloved daughter, though he never knew what happened to the other bracelet he had given her. He raised Zoe up to be in his image, teaching her to be strong and brave, he was always to proud of her, but had trouble showing it.
Personality:He is loyal to his race and his family, so basically just his daughter, though he has trouble showing much emotion even anger. Even though he doesn't show it he is filled with love, and anger.
Strenghts:His ability to hide things, and fighting hand to hand combat as well as any elf a bow and arrow.
