•Plot•
In the Victoria era, there are nobles, peasants, royalty, barons, a whole variety of people, demons and angels included. They walk and live among us too. Most are oblivious to their prescence, and that is how it should be. There are a few people however, who have goals, most nearly impossible. They are the ones who acknowledge the demons' presences. Not only do they just acknowledge them, they seek their assistance in achieving their goals. The demons serve them and help as needed, taking the soul in return.

•Phantomhives•
Ciel Phantomhive runs his estate efficiently. He is usually accompanied by his demon butler, Sebastian and they hunt continuously to find the one who murdered his mother and father. With the aide of Sebastian he aims to successfully find them and take his revenge. There are many obstacles though and he must do so while maintaining the title of the Queen's guard dog.

•Trancys•
Alois Trancy, a young earl inheritted the Trancy estate when the previous owner was killed. He had forged a contract with the demon, Claude Faustus, to be there for him along with a few other goals. The Trancy household rivals the Phantomhive household.


•Holloways•
The Holloways, also serve a sort of conflict with the current Earl of Trancy. The only child, a daughter, of the Holloway estate now has inheritted everything due to their being no male heirs. No cousins, brothers or friends. A male hadn't been born to her family in ages, but now that both her mother and father have been assassinated, and there being no other will, she has taken control. But being one of the few female noble family heads within a great distance she faces a lot of threats, therefore she had made a contract with a lowly demon.

Personality:: For a demon butler, Merrill is quite playful. He is younger than William and Sebastian and is still having fun with the world. Every once in a while he'll stir up trouble amongst the towns people for his own amusement, being the devious being he is. He finds human beings to be fascinating and loves to watch them squirm.When given orders he almost always has a little too much fun carrying them out no matter the order. Whether it's preparing tea or killing off masses of people he always adds his own creative fun spark to the assignment. This being the case he is certainly destructive the way he flings his strength around. When he gets the chance, however, he loves to socialize, whether it be with his master, creating entertainment for nobles, or simply chatting the ears off some poor peasants. And when he gets on his master's nerves and he is ordered to keep quiet, he turns it into a fun game of charades.
Attitude towards master:: Even if his master may become occasionally exsasperated with his games, Merrill enjoys having his company none the less, or rather providing company to him. When he gets an order he carries it out happily in the most creative way to do so. Overall he finds playing a butler to his master highly enjoyable as it gives him an opportunity to watch the funny little humans up close.

Deal with the butler:: It isn't often that women, much less young girls, have complete control over a household of nobels, and it wasn't uncommon to be married right away and so young in those rare situations, but she refused and therefore was looked down on and insulted. In order to keep her families social status she made a contract with a demon, to help her succeed and bring down those who want to be rid of her for the money her family has stored. She wants to show everyone that she can in fact be a good family head.
Contract Symbol: A small pair of stylized angel wings, appearing tattered and tucked in. It is located in the middle of her neck, at the base, directly under her chin. She often wears a ribbon or bow over it.
Goal:: Her goal is to overpower the individuals trying to ruin her families reputation and succeed as the head mistress of a house on her own without marrying.
Enemies:: Trancy house
Allies:: Wyse house
History:: She was the only living heir to the head of her family, and therefore when her father and mother had both died, her mother by illness, her father by assassination, she took over the house hold. Other than that, her history was a mainly pleasant one, living a highly respected household.
Personality:: Hollyn is generally very content and usually kind, though when it comes to being insulted or her family name dishonored, she mercilessly rids England of those blind enough to not see that gender doesn't matter. She can be quite dark and serious when she wants to be, but rarely is she bitter. She tries not to let insults get to her and she often succeeds in ignoring the hurtful comments thrown her way. She is able to do this because she knows she's more intelligent than what people make of her just because she's female.

Description:: Dressed in startling white and other light colors, William sticks out in more way then one. His jacket, slacks, and shoes are all white as the driven snow. His vest is a light grey, and his tie a relaxing lilac. William has jet black hair, where the bangs reach down to curl just under his chin, but the middle of the frock is cut short in choppy peices and falls to drpe just over his eyebrows. His skin tone is pale, and the overall build of his body is slim, toned, and elegant, but doesnt take away from masculinity. William stands at a good 6'3, making him one long legged hunk and he has two eyecolors. His left eye is a forest green with flecks of copper thrown in around the iris. His right is a very diluted blue, so light that it might make a person believe he is blind in that one eye. His gloves are black, and he carries the house crest upon his tie, right where the knot is made.

Deal with Master:: "To insure the ultimate success of the household. The Holloways will be noted for supreme aristocratic standing, regardless of the master's gender, and shall prove to all that even the feminine can climb to the top. As the butler of the Holloway home, I shall see to it that all of my mistress's needs are met until she reaches her goal of ultimate domination."

Personality:: Quiet, yet calculating and ever watchful, William is an ideal butler. He adores his position as butler, seeming to have been one before for mere amusement, but since his contract, the job has become an ever fitting nessecity. He enjoys being esteemed, elegant, and noteworthy for tasks done with the most impecable presicion. His skills rival that of the ever popular Sebastian, but he would throttle whoever dare compare him to such. He is obedient, willing to follow any and all orders without hesitation. This proves useful in many ways, since he won't question ideas or activities, merely perform them as seen fit. His wit is to be admired, and his is always busy with something. But, don't let his constant working fool you. He keeps an eye on everything and everyone, always knowing where others are and whether or not they are doing as they are supposed to be doing. All and all, William is pleasant to be around, since he is hardly ever annoying, always gets his work done, follows instructions, and can prepare an exquisite feast fit for a king.

Attitude towards master:: William is pleasant towards his mistress. He adresses her accordingly, always with a smile, and takes care to see that all of her needs are met above and beyond. You could say its a bit of a daddy- little girl relationship, only the father is a soul eating demon.

Other:: William has terrible sight. Like that of a Shinigami, he must always wear glasses. He is not sure as to why his sight has failed so badyly, but he does know that without his beloved spectacles, he is as blind as a bat, and lacks all grace and skill. If one were to ever want to get at him, they need to merely get a hold of his lenses, and hide them.

Deal with Master:: "To enure my masters revenge, and provide protection. I am the horse to my mighty, little lord."

Personality:: Highly intelligent, resourceful, demonically strong and fast and with all the experience of his long life behind him, he faces nearly every situation with eerie calm. He has a rather dry, sly sense of humor and seems to enjoy poking fun at humanity in general and Earl Phantomhive in particular. In spite of this, he is very attentive to both the letter and spirit of the contract between himself and Ciel Phantomhive, carrying out the Earl's orders with speed and precision. He is highly meticulous and detail-oriented, and dislikes having the daily schedule disrupted.

Attitude towards master:: Rather teasing, but loyal none the less. He likes to engage his masters overwhelming pride via slight insults and mental manipulation.

Deal with Master:: "That matters not. I will greedily devour you until the end, my master."

Personality:: Our dear spider here has a bit of a bipolar disorder. He is usually, very monotonous and cold, seeming to not be fazed by anything in the slightest. A bomb could go off and hed simply stand there with the same bored expression in his golden eyes. But, when hes not a stone statue, he can be quite erractic and random even, sometimes picking up hobbies that he normally wouldn't have dreamed of. He is loyal somewhat, but then again, a demon should never be fully trusted so this trait can be over looked to an extent. None the less, he is a skilled patron of butlitering, and carries his duties out as well as the rest of them. Love him or hate him, dear Claude is a sinful spider of remarkable skill.

Attitude towards master:: Rather bored. He seems to only really be there to eat his soul and so on. But, he follows orders and takes care to see them performed.

Deal with the butler:: (( I'm not exactly sure what this means, so I'll leave it blank ^-^' ))

Contract Symbol: A yellow, orange, and brick red star-shaped marking on the tongue x3

Goal:: "To make Ciel mine." (Kyaaa~ Yaoi~~)

Enemies:: Unfortunately, Ciel. As well as Sebastian and the other residents of the Phantomhive manor.

Allies:: Claude, of course. There may be others later on.

History:: As a young child, Alois lived in a small village, going by the name of "Jim". However, soon after the village had gone down in flames and his younger brother was deceased, he was taken to the Trancy manor.

While in a cell, he had overheard the other boys speaking of a "fairy" that would come and grant your wish if you called it. Alois called, but was not able to provide the 'fairy'- which was Calude- with a reason for doing so when he had appeared.

Later on, he had been called to the Trancy Count's room, and found a way to make the Count desire him, which led to him being sexually abused later on.

He then found a way to convince the man that he was his long lost son Alois, and gained the freedom to raom around the manor as he so desired.

Soon after he sat in a tea room with Claude, and was tricked into thinking that the reason why his brother was dead was because of the raven demon Sebastian.

And so his contract was now officially formed.

Personality:: Alois is sly and devious, and fairly rude at that. He enjoyed causing mischief to gain his butler's attention, not caring what the conciquences for others may have been.
