» A SHIFTER ROLEPLAY «
The year is 2020 and not much has changed. Other than the growing population of human shifters that is.
The small and quet town of Jasper Minnesota has always been a peaceful place. Surrounded by a beautiful forest and mountain range, it is the perfect environment to grow up in. However, ten years ago, A group of rogue scientists had been experimenting with illegal substances, their mission was to find a way to rearrange a humans molecules and mix them with other organisms. Their attempts at splicing ended up leading nowhere, so they dumped the chemicals into a nearby lake, hoping to rid themselves of the evidence. Unknowing to them, that lake had been the towns main water source for many years. This contamination wasn't discovered until a few years later, but the damage had already been done. While the water had no affect on an already grown human(other than a nasty cold) it was the pregnant mothers that suffered.
Through the next twenty years many of the children born had discovered remarkable things about themselves. They could change their form at will! While the families of those affected tried to keep the situation under wraps, rumors and gossip spread like wildfire and the existence of Shifters became a town myth. Now, with a growing population newcomers flock into Jasper seeking the unnatural some for more sinister reasons than others.
In this small town full of secrets, be careful who you trust, or you might end up on the wrong side of the cage.

¤ Your animal cannot be extinct so no saber tooth tigers or dinosaurs guys.
¤ Please keep in mind this is a realistic roleplay therefore your animal cannot
have unusual coloring or eye colors, unless they have a good reason for it.
Mutations such as albinism are allowed as long as your character has it as well.
¤ Anit-Shifter's or Hunters ARE allowed, same with scientists.
