Much of our world is gone, no longer do the forests provide a safe haven for the elves that called them home. No longer do the melodies from their music flutter about like the birds of the sky. Our world is changing and our time is drawing to a close. War threatens us from every direction and our world is slowly dying. Middle Earth is at war and we stand at a cross road. Do we fight for what little we have left, do we know when to give up?

This rp is loosely based off the books by Tolkien. The elves of Middle Earth are coming to terms with the fact that the time of the elves is coming to an end as the darkness spreads and threatens them more and more. Already many have fled to the Grey Havens to restart their lives in the peace that each elf longs for but a few still remain. The question is do they fight for what is left of this dying world or do they too flee and leave Middle Earth to destruction?

I plea with you to take your time and effort when filling out these forms. I don't want to see any silly stuff like "Will rp out" or "Ask me" because this just shows what I believe is a lack of effort, care and interest. Enjoy filling out the forms and pouring as much into them to give your character a background, to give it flesh and blood and to make it believable to not only you but everyone else. By description I want you to describe what your character wears and things they enjoy and dislike, you may also add a link to some images if wanted. Images are not compulsory!

I have been wanting do this role play since forever but have never really had the will power to try write it all out up until now, midnight on a Saturday. Yay! Description:
Estel is always seen with her beautiful copper gold hair flowing down her back freely. Her pale blue eyes are said to be the most shocking or interesting feature. Her skin is a pale white, like all the elven, she is also tall and very slender. If you can't find Estelwen be sure to first go looking in the stable or out by the river where some of the horses graze. She is one of the best horsemen of her people and is never sen far from her horse Ithil whom she adores clearly. She also has a great passion for reading and can be found with a thick novel in her possession at all times and also enjoys music like most elves. She plays the violin and often sings and dances with anyone.
Crush/Courting:
No one, she isn't particularly interested in love right now as she always finds she has something slightly more important to do like,um, painting and exploring.
Husband:
A little too young to be thinking about marriage don't you think?
Preferred Weapon:
Like most elves Estelwen prefers her long bow to any other weapon and does pretty well as a mounted archer.
Mount:
Her one and only horse is her stallion Ithil whom is never seen more than a few paces away from her.
Family:
I'm afraid she has no remaining family on Middle Earth, they have all fled but she insists on straying much to the distress of her poor mother.
Personality:
Estelwen is as free spirited as they come. She isn't good following orders and is often too busy to pay most people any attention. She doesn't enjoy fighting but will fight for her home and please, don't even dare to touch Ithil or she will take your hand off. She tends to be more of a wild child by elvish standards but she doesn't care as she is in her late teens and she knows there is plenty of time to be boring when your dead!
History:
Estelwen was born in Lorien but her parents moved the moment war threatened them, thus is how she came to live at Rivendell. Her mother, father and younger brother left on a ship to go to the Grey Haven but Estelwen refused to leave and thus firmly rooted herself in Middle Earth, besides she would miss all the fun and trouble she can get into if she left.

Description:
Lunaryn is a tall and slim female elf. Her big emerald greeen eyes sparkle in her pale face, and unlike most elves, she has unusual black hair, that falls down her back till her waist. She usually doesn't tie her hair up, but so it doesn't get in her face she plaits the front bits.
Lunaryn usually wears a long, dark brown cloak, a forest green tunic , brown trousers and black boots. She also has a glove that she wears on her left hand so that her owl, Soren, can land on her arm whenever he wants.
Crush/Courting:
She isn't interested in those sorts of things. Why would she want to waste her time when she can go on exciting adventures?

Preferred Weapon:
Her bow and arrows, but she can use whatever weapon is necessary.

Family:
Lunaryn is the daughter of the sister of Thranduil, so she is from a royal family, but she didn't like obeying all the rules that her parents gave her, unlike her twin sister, Kalwen, that was always her parents' favourite.
The only person that she gets along with in her family is her cousin Legolas, but as he has gone to the war of the ring, she doesn't see him anymore.
Personality:
Lunaryn is a young and energetic elf. She is always helping animals and plants, but she is also able to kill them if needed. She is considered quite strange, as she is not very social and often spends hours alone with the only company of her pets. Behind this is the reason that she feels different from others, and isn't good at fitting in a group of people.
Good sides of Personality:
She is brave and intelligent. When someone gets to know her very well, they will find out that in the inside she is a kind elf, willing to sacrifice anything for her friends. Being agile and fast, she is a good fighter, and is sometimes over defensive about her horse and owl, who are her only friends.
She also has a great talent with literature and music, but she doesn't want to admit it.
Bad sides of Personality
She can often be arrogant and rude to hide up things that she doesn't want to admit. Lunaryn refuses to obey anyone except herself, and tends to try to not talk to people because she feels like they are laughing at her.
She is over perfeccionist and never happy with what she does, even though it is really good.

History:
Lunaryn grew up in Mirkwood. She was from a royal family, as she is Legolas' cousin. However, she never obeyed her strict parents and used to run away and visit Esgaroth with her horse, Sombra. One day, she found a small owl hatchling that had fallen from the nest. She nursed him back to health and now Soren (The owl) Goes everywhere with her.
When the war began, all her family decided to go to the Gray Heaven, but she didn't want to go and begged them to let her stay. They refused so she escaped to Rivendell. Her parents couldn't do anything and went without her. Now her only family are her two pets.
