I saw somoene, in a clearing. I dismounted Aura, a patted her gently on her face and then silently walked, and hid behind a tree. "Who are you?" I asked {To Nathan}

Nathan turned sharply, still holding his sword at the ready and able to fight whenever he may need. Luckily for the girl who was there, he didn't swing by instinct and cut her.
"You first."

I walked out behind him. "Annabella. Annabella Jackson. Now you?"

"Nathan. Ridgewell." Nathan told her, not relaxing his grip on his sword or taking his eyes off her. "What are you doing here?"

"Nice," Kylie grinned, looking up, holding back her tears. She took a deep breath, then lowered her eyes again. She kicked the ground with one scruffy converse shoe and sighed.

Nathan lifted his sword, showing it to Annabella while still keeping a firm grip on it. "Practicing."
