As the bus rolled in to the parking lot, Tabitha leaped from her seat, determined to be the first out the door. She always got pushed and shoved by people and thus found out a lot about them. She and her cousins knew of each other's secrets and she knew most of Elly's group by their species simply from all the things that happened Friday. That Abadeer boy concerned her. She had seen no trace of the Annie girl and that made her nervous. Tabitha wasn't yet fully trained and she wasn't entirely sure she could take on an aged vampire. She hadn't told her cousins of their friends' odd species. She didn't feel it was her place. But with recent developments she might have to.

Ellyon smiled and rolled her eyes at Bonnie, and moved into the empty seat next to her, "I'm so sorry dearest. I think I have some dark chocolate in my bag, Would you like it, my decaffeinated princess?"

Fionna sat quietly not sure whether to kiss or strangle Marshall for his unintended gesture. As Elliott settled in, obviously ruffled from the exchange, she moved her bag to give him leg room. She sat quietly staring out the window the rest of the way to school simultaneously kicking herself for not saying anything further to him now that she had the opportunity, and wishing she could put together anything even remotely coherent to say.

As the bus settled into its spot she eyed Tabitha's urgent escape and peeked back at a now snoring Marshall.

"Hey, sleepyhead, get up, we're here and don't even think about coming up swinging. I hit harder than you do." She winked at Marci and Ellyon as she said it and chuckled as she scooped up her bag and awaited Elliott's descent from the bus before making her own.

"Thank you Ellyon, I would like chocolate. Since someone," Bonnie paused, shooting her brother a glare before continuing "doesn't understand the importance of sugar in the morning for those of us who have spent all night doing very important extra credit." Collecting her items from the seat, she took a short glance over to where Fionna attempted to wake Marshall "He sleeps like the dead, I tell you."

Benjamin chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Ah, dearest sister, you wouldn't need to do the extra credit if you kept up with the work! You're slipping." He attempted to shove Marshall aside, but unfortunately, teenage boys are heavy. "Does anyone know how to wake the dead?" The pink haired prisoner complained. "I'm gonna be late!"

Ellyon sighed. She looked at the sleeping boy, before getting an evil glint in her eye. She laughed, "If this doesn't wake him up I don't know what will." She took in a deep breath, and then squealed "Oh my god! Elliott! Stop making out with Ben!" She giggled viciously and stepped out of the seat, taking Bonnie's hand. "We should probably go before this blows up," she whispered.

Elliott turned white as a ghost and quickly followed Fionna off the bus, dreading what would happen as soon as the demon of the night awoke. He ran as though his life depended on it, dodging past a very confused Tabitha. He gave Fi a very hasty goodbye, before ducking into his first period class and praying when Marshall came in he didn't want to murder him.

Marshall's head stayed planted on his friends lap, the only hit that he was alive was a half-conscious and angry snort as Benjamin tried to rock his shoulders. he was a grumpy, sleepy dragon that had no intention of moving until his nap was done. that is, until Ellyon pitched in. crimson eyes shot open, and Lee's hand tightened on Bens shirt as he used his friend as a springboard to bolt upright. he blinked the sleep out of his gaze, just managing to see Elliott fly off the bus and run down to the school doors. Marshall's mouth twitched as he turned to glare intensely at Ellyon. foul words slid past his lips as he stood up and slung his pack over his shoulder. "you all suck." the vamp grumbled, his voice rough and unhappy. he glanced over at his pink haired prince and reached over, snatching up Gummy's bag before walking off the bus without another word. he loved his friends, but not today.

I suppose being in the medical field should make me a mature and
responsible adult, but it really doesn't. For someone who works at a
morgue with dead dudes all day, I don't really take a particular interest
in safety, and I may have a morbid infatuation with the dead. Well, the
undead. And well, anything that has to do with the unexplained and
creepy. Considering my eyes are really sensitive to sunlight, what
better to do than research vampires and zombies on free days?

Giving Ellyon a small smile, Bonnie nodded in agreement and ducking her head as Marshall awoke, tugging Ellyon off of the bus before erupting into giggles "I could have said something very inappropriate at his you suck statement but I'm so much more mature than that...not. I could very well have also slapped my brother for his comment on my grades, so let's be very thankful I did neither. Boys infuriate me to no end."

Benjamin raised a hand and opened his mouth to protest Marshall's thievery, but decided against it. Shaking his head with a half-bemused snort at Ellyon, he got off the bus after his grumpy dragon and his shy friend. What a weird way to start the day.
