Until a few months ago, Luminescence hadn't known English. She was thankfully starting to get the hang of it.
"I-I'm good at...h-heal...healing." She added quietly and let the small, green sparks of magic appear in her hands once more. It was just a tiny sliver of what she could do with her healing magic, but it was always best to seem weaker within the pack.
Appearing weak was a strength. One Lumi wanted to use to her full advantage.

Grey blinked. How could someone who just walked in or be here at anytime them hear or witness what a mess he had caused, and still want to help him? he was grateful she was being nice, but if she wanted to heal him, Grey couldn't say anything to refuse. "Grey nodded, "If you want.. I don't want you to feel forced to come up to me after what just happened." Grey murmured, trying to straighten out. When he breathed it still left his ribs sore, but that wasn't something unusual for him. Grey was incredibly confused, pissed off, and overall upset. One, he lost control in the school, not the mention the first day of school. Two, while unconscious of what he was doing, he had hurt Genesis who would probable would've a stand-by bully for the year, and bit a kind monster! Three, Worst of all he was acting so pathetic! quit making yourself feel, and sounding like you want to commit a suicide mission like some softy, toughen up, and move on. In your Au, and any forest or multiverse, its the same game. So whys it have to be different now?. He gave a mental talk to himself puffing lightly.

Luminescence slowly nodded. She did a quick once over with a small pulse of her healing magic and detected a number of Grey's wounds. Thankfully none were exactly life threatening themselves.
If that had been the case. She would have had to use up most of her soul power and magic just to heal the wound. That's the way her magic worked with mortal injuries. The task was sometimes too large and she would have to take on the pain herself.
It was always worth it if it kept someone from dying.
But still. That was not the case here.
"I d-don't feel...f-fo-orced." She paused for a moment as she moved to the next wound.
"I-I'm glad to...to h-help. You...you didn't mean to do it." She said quietly, the phrase she'd said so many times fell perfectly from her mouth. 'At least it was true this time...' Whispered Lumi's inner voice.

I'm positive I can make the day without 2 or 3. because you might as well not see me come back, His mind whispered. "Don't kill half of yourself for me. if thats the situation, then I won't let you. okay?"

Luminescence blinked at Grey, somewhat shocked by his statement, and then the shock turned into confusion.
One or two? If that was what Grey called enough, he must have a low HP.
"I-It only...hu-hurts a little." She trailed off, unsure if this was the right thing to say, but she did it anyway.
"B-Besides...it do-doesn't b-bo-bother me much. I'm u-used to it."
That was true. She was used to healing things like cuts, scrapes and even semi-large wounds. The pain it typically left her in was practically nothing. After healing what she could on Grey, the pain would be still be bearable.
Then, Lumi got a feeling that Grey might object to her healing him more, and quickly sent out a hardly noticeable, but powerful burst of healing magic. It made quick word of most of Grey's smaller and even a few larger wounds.
That should put him as at least three HP. She thought.
'You wasted energy for nothing' The inner voice cackled.
Lumi flinched at the familiar sound, but smiled all the same, even as a horrible twist of pain wrenched her soul.

Grey could breathe a lot clearer, for a moment he felt the right side of his mouth lift, making a small crooked smile.
He's never been healed before, and the sensation of being strong again was relieving. Grey lifted his hand, placing it on his arm and looking down. "t-thanks." Grey stuttered. He looked down at Genesis, wishing he could heal her, but that would sacrifice the hp he had just received. "Could I know your name, before I go to fix things with the other?" he asked, shivering after giving a quick run down to himself of what happened.

Luminescence took in quiet, shaky breaths, but remained calm. She didn't want to stand out more than she already did. Making her name known by anyone was more than she'd been going for.
But that was the consequence of helping out.
"M-My name..."She wondered aloud before looking down at her hands. They were shaking a little. Weather from healing or from fear, she didn't know. "Luminescence. Th-Though...I d-doubt you'll ne-need i-it."
"O-Oh. And yours?"
She needed to get going soon. Going as in becoming practically invisible to everyone but herself.
It was also important that she also checked on her soul. After doing that, it couldn't be looking too good right now.
