The boy gave a weak nod. "yes ... when Elizabeth- ... i mean ... Edward .. was lonely, they used to ask me to play with them and have little tea parties with Peppermint [the flying mint bunyn plushie], Lilly [a doll], and Mr. Cuddles [a giant teddy bear you could use as a chair]." He then put the book back in the sac. "whenever you had been too busy with work, or was off on buisness, i kept her company ... or atleast i sued too - before she slowly started to forget about me, and instead studied her magic to be like her father, and only focus on the magical creatures instead of the one thing she had created all on her own." he sighed softly, looking over to the sleeping Edward. " ... they always did want to do anything and evberything to impress you ... since you were always so busy during those times ..."

The words suddenly made Alice feel like a pretty cruddy mother. Or is it father? Meh. Was it true though? Had she really not been there enough for Edward? Or Elizabeth at the time? 'Just like I had to leave Alfred...' She thought to herself, an upset frown plastered on her face. "Well, I would like him to rest for now. Though I figure you are going to be travelling with us now. So make your self at home I suppose. Er, you didn't happen to come across my spell book while you were over there?"

The boy nodded and pulled out a dust covered book - he had found it in a burnt up chest in the basement - where most of the stuff was untouched, this was because of course the basement was hidden, and only the residents, including him, had known about it.

Alice blinked in Joy, snatching the book away. "Excellent! Give me some time and i may be able to turn us into our original genders!" She said with a happy flare about her that she hadn't had in a while. Well she had had it at the hospital with Amelia...but whatever. She left the boy, sitting down at a further corner. She started flipping through the book, eyes narrowed as they scanned each page

The American looked to the old parchment papered book. She had little understanding of the kinds of magic that were brought upon the brits, but Amelia knew Elizabeth had been raised around magic and fairytales, just as she had been so long ago. An upset frown formed on Alice's face to Konoha's explanation, Amelia guessed she also felt bad about leaving Elizabeth for paperwork. The nation knew it took a lot to raise a child, it was very difficult, especially when you are United Kingdom. "Yeah, make yourself feel welcome. I bet Edward will be more than happy to see you again when he recovers. The wavy haired girl said warmly. Having a new friend during this mission actually cheered up her downed spirits. Alice even started to act like herself again, grabbing the book like a kid with a new toy. The skirted American scooted after her, poking over her shoulder at all the scripted writings. "So the counterparts will change back too if we do? That's a bummer." Amelia grinned, even at the loss of payback.

The counterpart tipped her head down with a yawn. "Aren't I always?" Allen's eyes snapped up to look to the messy-faced brit, spinkles dotting her face and icing globs all over her chin. "Your gonna choke." The American grunted as Oliver shoved another ordered cupcake down her throat.

"Yes." Alice mumbled in response to the American. She was tempted to shove the other girl away. Though she did enjoy the company. Also she was to sucked into her reading to really protest. She started mumbling as she read. At one point she accidentally made a cat appear from muttering a spell a loud. It held a strange resemblance to Arthur. The male version. It was a English Fold, all white expect for a few orange blotches. It's eyes were green and sparked with a certain snooty. "Er....Amelia, want a cat?" She asked, unsure what to do with the feline as it started rubbing up against her arm.

Oliver cocked a brow. "Imph not goith choke!" She promised with a mouthful, only swallowing after she finished speaking. Now only one cupcake remained. She lifted it up, running a tongue over her lips. Was her tongue blue? Icing might do that if you have enough of it. One thing was for sure though. Oliver was going to be more hyper than usual. With this amount of sugar? It wasn't exactly a rare thing for the Brits bouncing and talking to increase due to sweets. She wasn't thinking of it though as she licked the icing off and plopped the treat into her mouth.

The boy rubbed his arm gently after, seeing that he wasn't really needed anymore. "... i doubt she'll even remember." he murmured softly to himself, looking over to Edward. He then walked over to the sleeping boy and sat beside him, seeing that the other two were conversing. "if you changed back now ... wouldn't that hint you found the book at your home only recently? ... that would give away your in the area ... no?" he asked softly.

Amelia grinned widely, nodding joyously at the small cat that suddenly popped into the thin air. "It's adorable!" The girl sat down on her knees, glimpsing ahead at the orange spotted feline and watching it rub happily against English nation's arm. The English Fold reminded her exactly of Arthur, it even looked to have his voluminous brows. The blonde's eyes ignited pellucidly as she looked to the cat's confident green eyes. "Come here kitty!" Amelia said avidly as she picked up the orange-tailed cat, hugging it close to her chest before setting it on her lap. The snooty cat of course was not used to the attachment, it's paws struggled to get away and looked begrudgingly to the chirpy nation. Amelia looked to the boy as he sat next to Edward, lips tightening at the logic. "Do you guys think they'd be that smart? That's a good point..." Amelia petted the green eyed cat as she pondered.

"All I'm saying is that I've never seen someone eat a cupcake that fast." Allen said, barely even being able to decipher what Oliver had said with her mouth crammed with cake and icing. The high sugar amounts would leave the brit bouncing off the walls, the brit was known to be hyperactive after a good cupcake spree. "There's napkins over there," the American nodded her head towards a small section loaded with paper napkins. "Your face is a mess."

Alice looked up at the boy, any joy that she may have held in her eyes melted away. He was right. "Well...if they are our opposites than my counterpart would he an idiot and Amelia's would be bright." She said with a glint of challenging humor in her eyes as she spoke the words. "Then as soon as Edward wakes up we will start moving again." She decided, clearly wanting her normal anatomy back. Who could blame her? I'm sure you'd be surprised if a little something something went missing or you suddenly grew something!

The girl looked over her shoulder at said napkins. "Thanks for letting me know?" She looked confused as she looked back. The thought of cleaning her face never crossed her mind. Well it did. But not with napkins. In fact as she gazed at Allen she used a finger to scoop some icing from her cheeks, gently licking it off

The boy looked to the sac for a moment, then back to them. 'i found some car key's earlier when i walked here ... i think they were for a van just down the street, since i found the keys near the underside of the tire ..." he offered, soon digging into the sac for the keys, hearing the soft jingling. - it would seem he liked to collect things, mainly things of interest or possible usefulness.
