I finished up the dusting before putting the brush into my rope belt and walking out of the room. My sharp green eyes passed over the well trimmed lawns and I sighed as I took a breath of fresh air. I decided to take a quick five minute break before attacking dust bunnies again. I watched bird fly about, chirping to each other in their birdy language.

She stifled a rather unlady-like laugh with her hand. "Oh, my." She said siting down next to Crystal, and looking at her with her undivided attention. "Theres more? I can hardly believe that." She teased

Crsytal playfully shoved Maria in the arm. She wasn't sure if she should tell her but took a deep breath and decided she would have to, she already said she would tell her. Crystal took a deep breath and bit her lip "Well..Me and Prince Alexander were having a picnic today, and well, i think i like him" she said shyly. She looked at Maria "I know it won't work out, but might as well enjoy it while it lasts" she said shrugging

"You've got to be joking." Maria said sounding stunned. "Prince Alexander of Avalon?" She said, excitement apparent in her voice. "How did this even happen?"

Crsytal smiled and nodded her head, her hair drooped over her shoulders "The Harvest" she said. She entwined her fingers and smiled at Maria, she did a small squeal "I can't belive it!, i used to dream of falling for a prince, but i never knew it would happen!" she giggled. She hugged Maria softly "What do you think of my news then?" she asked blushing.

Alexander had been zoned out for awhile but as soon as he heard his name paired with Serena's he felt like he was going to vomit. "What? I am not-I cannot- I WILL NOT marry her. No offense of course and I don't mean to sound improper but isn't there another way?" Alex held his head in his hands, feeling horrible with his stomach twisting in knots. This was definitively not what he wanted. He wanted Crystal. He wanted the two of them to fall in love and have a happily ever after; but Serena? Serena...well, he wasn't too sure. "May I be excused?"

[@pinwheel. Serena and KC almost immediately stood up after the announcement and told the other royals they love eachother and that KC want to take Alex's place. Everybody is already excused since the meeting is over and the kings are going to discuss the suggestion of KC and Serena.]

She returned the girls hug. "My god Crystal, I don't know what to think! I mean really it's like a fairy tale is it not?" Maria said biting her lip. Honestly she couldn't be more excited that her friend had fallen in love. The only problem was, well, Alexander was a prince which meant he was only supposed to marry those of high status. In fact he might have even been betrothed t a princess of Elyadon. Maria chose not to remind Crystal this. It seemed far to cruel to dampen her excitement.She should at least have a little break from the cold reality. "Do you know if he returns your feelings?"

Arabella stood and exited the conference room, she had nothing do to with this affair. She wanted to go home and mourn her brother. She wanted to cry and empty her head of all thought and all her cares. She walked out into the gardens and sat down on a stone bench, then let her tears fly. After a few minutes, she was once again ready to think. "Serena and her old friend will probably be married," she said to herself. "That means she'll be happy. But Tristan...He'll never consent to marry Aria without a fight. And she seems like a nice girl." She sat up a bit straighter. "I should be happy I wasn't considered in that arrangement," she said to herself. "I got off easy."

Tristan swept down the hall, not knowing what to think. Honestly, he doubted that they would reject the new idea, it made sense. He wondered how he hadn't seen Serena's fondness for the Avalon prince. And his for her. He supposed they were rarely seen in public together. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time they were standing next to each other.

The prince nodded at Serena, running his free hand through his hair nervously. "I just want to be with you, Rena. They need to accept our proposal. If not.." he gave her a small, sad smile. The prince led her down a few corridors until they reached the guest suites. He watched Tristan quietly slip into one of the rooms down the hall, and turned to Serena. "I guess this where we part," he said, gesturing at one of the empty rooms. He opened the door for her, leaning against the door frame. The prince smiled softly, sliding a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead gently. "Get some rest, Rena. We'll need it." he said quietly.
