Karl had waited patiently for the sun to set that summer day. He had been ignoring Erica for the past few hours, but as soon as the sun fell behind the horizion he hopped from his window and landed on the street below, ready to terrorize the humans. His crooked grin was plastered all over his pale face, his eyes wide and looking for any possible victims. He was like a kid in a candy store.

Erika jumped down behind Karl. "Karl! Answer me d*mnit!" she said, hated not to be answered. Her face was a bit red, her frustration building. "What's up with you today?"

A shallow breath of air escaped Roxy's pale lips, letting out a quiet sigh to show her exhaustion from today's work. The warm gentle air in the city allowed a slight breeze to travel through it, ruffling the Half Blood's jet black hair a bit as she walked down one of the back-ways she used to go from point A to point B at night. She'd grown used to the labyrinth of alleys and secret passages that she could navigate herself pretty well through the area by now.
The vampire ran her nimble fingers through her hair, catching a few pestering knots in the action. Her sapphire orbs gleamed in the light of the sliver moon that was moving across the dark clear skies silently. She glanced up and shivered slightly though she didn't know why, she wasn't cold or anything of that sort. The night air just felt off somehow and it made her want to get home quickly..


The sound of papers being slammed against a hard desk could be heard as Anber stacked her folders and take home work assignments together, halfway organizing her junk in a sloppy but efficient way. Once she had gathered all of her work she turned on her heel and started for the two double doors in front of her, her copper hair swooshing over her shoulders with the movement.
Her hard heeled shoes clacked against the tiled floor beneath her feet as Anber strode gracefully out of the building, taking in the breath of fresh air that wafted into her face as a warm summer's breeze glided by on silent wings. After a moment or two the False Chevalier continued on her way, heading home for the night. She had fed earlier that evening on one of her more ignorant secretaries that was looking for any means of a promotion even if it meant getting a rather painful 'kiss.'


"It is appearing so.. I shall be having to remind him that messing up in this job can be highly fatal.." Max mused to himself in a low gruff voice, making a mental note to go pay the unlucky person a visit later. "Well it is to be nice meeting you Mr. Haji but I must bid my farewells and be going to do my job." The brute said with a slight bow of his head. "If you are hearing of anything else, please contact me." He said, pulling out a fine looking business card with only his name in tight black scribbles and cellphone number on it from his wallet. He handed it to the taller man before turning and walking off, leaving without another word.

Haji watched as Max handed him his business card, then lumbered off. The Chevalier looked at the piece of stiff paper and contemplated on throwing it away. He wasn't one to litter however, so he put it in his pocket and continued his errands for the day.

A few more stops here and their to get other items and Haji was soon back to his shop. A few more people had stopped by, but other then that the day was uneventful. He closed up at 6 and locked the door, then walked around to the side of the building, where another door sat. Haji unlocked it, then stepped inside, heading up the stairs to his apartment building, which was directly above his little store. The chevalier put his keys on the table and went to shrug off his clothes and take a shower to get ready for the night.



Karl huffed, hearing Erica yell at him. "nothings up with me." he replied, then started slaking off into the darkness. He rumbled, on the lookout for a good victim. His conversation with Solomon earlier had worn on him, so he was a bit frustrated and wanted to relieve the feeling.

Erica trotted after Karl, grinning as she looked around at all of the possible walking meals. "It's what Solo-chan said, isn't it?" she asked, falling in step beside him. "You've had a change of heart?"

Karl snorted once again. "Im not changing at all Erica. Solomon himself has changed, hes just to ignorant to realize that fact." the chevalier spat, crouching behind a wall as people walked by, singing off key to some bar song. "Its irritating me. He acts so cocky, just like Haji."

Erica sighed, crouching down beside him. "Alright, sorry forget I even said anything." she said, brushing her black locks from her eyes. "So, any specific meal tonight?"

The Half Blood was slinking along the shadowy walls, watching people pass her by without even a glance. Her sapphire eyes seemed to take on a light blue hue as she watched a couple drunkards walk right into her line of view. She scrunched down slightly, depicting which of them looked to be in the best shape. She didn't like fatty meals that would likely cause her to get clogged arteries. Roxy didn't like to feed off of humans, she wanted to be normal, not part monster. But if she was going to be a beast that fed off of people she wouldn't fill herself on nasty unhealthy blood. The thought just kinda grossed her out as well.
Roxy got a hungry gleam in her eyes as she saw one of the younger looking guys stumble off to the side when one of his friends pushed him, causing him to fall backwards and into her shadowy veil of darkness. She struck quick and covered the male's mouth with her hand, using her inherited strength to hold him down while she got a quick nibble. She'd only take a little blood from each person she bit, preferring to have many small meals rather than having one large one that would be likely to kill her victim.
