Rose ignored him. "Forget the castle, Si, there isn anything in that town for us. and," She turned to face Max, "the Village idiot remark did not go for all villagers." She snapped. This odd person annoyed her slightly.

"Ro, just talk for a moment?" Simon begged his comrad. Rose sniffed, but stood next to him, her sword still in her hand. "What do you want? I have a long way to go before the next town, and I want to gt moving." She sighed angrily.

Edward was slightly startled but smiled at the girls. "Hello, there. What brings you two here?"

(Wasn't he in his room?)

Matilda walked around in the castle, doing nothing, as always. She considered sneaking into the village just to see what it was like but she wouldn't dare. She didn't even dare talk back to her parents, how was she going to handle if they caught her and confronted her? She shuddered at the thought and decided it would be better safe than sorry. She sighed, continuing to explore the corridors she knew better than the back of her hand.

((Rose and Simon are talking to Max, Natasha and Tika are talking with Edward, and I'm about to have Daniel run into Matilda.))
Also roaming the corridors of his home was Daniel. Turning down a passageway, he saw his younger sister. "Matilda!" He called to catch her attention.

Max watched them with an emotionless face, his storm grey eyes scanning them silently. He was tall, easily standing taller than both. Leaning against a tree, he folded his arms over his chest. "What are you looking for, in town? And why are you leaving this village to go somewhere else?" Max, despite his emotionless face, was indeed curious. And he also wanted to know if they were talented. He was trying to form a band of bandits, to steal from the rich and give to the poor. He knew the town inside and out, had been in the castle several times, and knew how to survive in the wildnerness. He would be leader, of course, with a deputy at his side to help.

Rose stepped forward. "Look, I have not interest in your silly games, and I don't even know your name." She said with a raised eyebrow. Simon sighed, would he always be the translator? "She means that were just passing through, but lookin for a place to live. Rose has been trained in swords wielding since she was six. I.... We met about a year ago." He explained with a sigh. "We might leave because, well, we just might." He shrugged, looking at the other man. His eyes shifted from Max's face to Rose's.

Max nodded at Simon. "Thank You." he turned to Rose. "Call me Max." He sutdied her for a moment. "Trained in weaponary, huh? How bout fighting of knights and dragons and trolls? And do you know how to sruvive in the forest and foothillls?" He asked. He was beginning to have a plan in mind.

"Yes, I do." Rose said, and shuddered, then added warily. "Why do you want to know all this?"

Simon sighed.

Max smiled. "Answer me just one more question and I will let you know." He said. "Are you a fearless leader, willing to do dangerous stunts for the good of others, to risk your life every day?" He couldn't help it, he was excited.
