Sophie looked at Lyme, then to the Doctor. She noticed his face she walked over. "It's okay," She whispered."'Cuz I gotta admit, I Kinda like you too."

He really hadn't expected that, and it wasn't as if he was trying to deny the fact or didn't like it, he just realized he had to be mature by thinking of the danger he might put her in.
Though the response he wanted to give was very obvious just from the look on his face.

The Commander

She follows the others, remaining quiet. She was a bit annoyed at how the doctor had shown up out of the blue like that, but she would have to deal with that later. She would really like to go off exploring, and the TARDIS had probably sent her here to earth to get her some friends. But of course, the Doctor had gotten in the way of that. All his charm and his never wanting to follow the rules, this was why she had decided that she didn't approve of him in the first place.

Sophie frowned at his reaction. Her face turned red and she looked down at her feet. I suppose Lyme was lying when she said that, or I was hearing things. Ugh, Sophie, stop dreaming!

"SORRY, I'M NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS!"He retorted.

"I do like her though.."He whispered so just Lyme could hear.

Sophie backed away, not wanting to get tackled. She scooted towards The Commander. "I. Am. Stupid. Ugh. I can't believe I said that! It's true yeah, but. ugh." She sighed.
