Silver laughed. "Yeah, I know." She pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. "I have to go, heres my number." She handed him the paper and got up to leave.

Jace gave her an uneasy smile, and watched her walk away.

In the woods, Kiernan sat on a rock, reflecting. She never slept, unlike most Faerys.

Silver walked down the ally to her apartment. She tripped on a piece of trash and fell into a mud puddle. She cursed under her breath as she pushed herself up. She looked around for her bag.
