Aleksander was a bit reluctant to let her carry his bag, they were both quite heavy. Soon seeing that she seemed to be able to handle it quite well, he let go of the bag. He was a bit surprised at how welcoming Sam was being to him, not that he was objective at all. Alek leisurely followed her through the sand toward her home. As she then began talking to him about a flaw she had, he began looking at the outside of her house. It seemed quite nice, nothing incredibly spectacular though. It actually seemed quite homey if you could describe it in one word. Alek then let out a small chuckle as he recalled Sam telling him about her less than great orienteering skills. "You don't have to help me. If you'd like to though I'd be very thankful. I'm sure we can find it quite easily. I wouldn't think my parents would have a house built in the middle of this beautiful place." Alek then replied, walking inside the house behind her. He carefully shrugged off his bag and laid it quietly on the floor. The last thing he wanted to do was seem rude to someone who had been kind enough to invite him in without hardly knowing him. Aleksander stood a bit stiffly, his hands shoved deep inside his pockets, as he watched her retrieve some snacks from her kitchen. Alek felt a kind smile form on his lips when he saw her wave him over to sit down. He then pulled his hands out of his pockets and casually walked towards the small table. He then saw that Sam had gotten some crackers and Diet Coke. Seeing the food made him realize just how hungry he truly was. He hadn't had any food since earlier that morning. He then began to eye the crackers hungrily. Alek then forced himself to look away, afraid he'd made himself look like a bit of a pig. Forcing himself to look up at Sam, Alek's smile changed to more of a thankful expression. "Thank you for inviting me in. It was very nice of you." he then said, taking his camera off of his neck and sitting it carefully toward the center of the table. He hoped that sitting it more toward the center would lessen the risk of his camera being accidentally harmed.
